Full disclosure, we love Pizza Express. But this was below par. Pancake dough balls, undercooked calamari, but it was the service that let them down, just real lack care, asked to take order and their response was snarly, then we didn’t have the table cleared for mains, then we asked for payment but eventually had to go up off our own back, sounds like our problem but we weren’t exactly trying to race through. La Rein, as always, was 10/10.

We had a delivery of 2 Romana pizzas and sides. Pizzas were cold and was like chewing on the food cartons they came in. Really disappointed as I've always dined in and always enjoyed it. Wouldn't order delivery again. Sides were nice.

Fantastic place for my 14 year old nephews birthday, Food was great, The young lady serving us was a superstar, Nothing was to much trouble for her looking after a group of 14, Well done Young lady, That's how to make people feel welcome and to leave 5 star reviews, Definitely will be returning

Top tip... if you download the pizza express app before you arrive you can get a free portion of adult dough balls, 1/3rd off some pizzas and some other pizza related goodies, I saved £11 using the app on this trip alone.I booked online, and I'm glad I did because it was busy for 6pm, we ordered two childrens meals and two adults pizzas.The starters and mains came quickly but the desserts seemed to take ages, we didn't leave until 8.15 and we are not slow eaters. The staff were lovely and friendly and our server had the best nails.So, for the food..We had dough balls (of course) and they were delicious, I can't remember how many is in a portion because we ate them so fast.The new kids ice cream sandwich was a real hit with my 8 year old, she could have probably eaten two of them it was so tasty.I had the prawn low cal pizza, I can't remember it's name but it's the one with the salad in the middle. It was nice and tasty and I was full before I'd finished the pizza but that was probably due to the free dough balls I ate before the main came (there's no calories in free food, right?).

Based on 2 experiences:1st Sunday: I ordered for delivery via “Just Eat” an hour earlier, it was suggesting everything is prepared. At the time of Arrival of the pizza I got on the message that the restaurant cancelled my order - Seriously? On a Sunday evening at 20:00?2nd Sunday: I ordered online on their website hoping there they would t cancel as easily. All good but as they deliver with Uber the pizza was prepared and then it took 2 cancelled drivers and after 45min after preparation it was finally here. Not yet fully cold but definitely not fresh anymoreDO NOT RECOMMEND FOR DELIVERY!
