Butlin's Minehead Resort

Went for tots week, and booked the premium dining. The food was great and lots of it, definitely worth the premium dining for the grill station alone. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The splash waterworld was fantastic, with the wave pool and the lazy river the kids loved it. All the shows were good, and plenty to keep you busy. Also easy access to Minehead beach just across the road.

Overall the four of us including our 7 & 5 year old had fun! Loved the Splash park and entertainment. The cost of the holiday was good too for a basic standard apartment. I would have expected the rooms to have been hoovered though thoroughly under the sofas, which are very light and easy to move. I found a hair clip under the sofa! The bathroom wasn’t to the standard of cleanliness either that I expected. Damaged toilet seat which looked dirty. For those who love cooking you’ll need to take a chopping board, baking tray and a decent sharp knife. The beds are very comfortable and heating works well. Most staff were very friendly but some I questioned why they were in that particular role. They seemed irritated and on a short fuse. Love Minehead and the surrounding villages.

Great place to take a young family. Lots has been considered to make it really child friendly, especially on the tots midweek break we went on. Some parts could do with refurbishing and accommodation is on the basic side. For what we paid though, we were really impressed with the entertainment that was included and all the staff were kind and helpful.

Best weekend ever. 70s weekend at Butlins Minehead. Worth ever penny. You would never have guessed they were flooded out the week before. Our apartment and the grounds were spotless. The entertainment was first class. Bar service took a little time but to be expected with the number of people there. Friendly staff. There are so many venues and eateries to choose from. Also, Minehead itself with its quaint little railway station and lovely sea front walk into town was very nice. With so much on offer to do on site, we didn't get to see much more of Minehead. If you remember the 70s or if you just enjoy 70s music. You have to book this weekend for sure

I love the adult big weekends. Always a good vibe and fab three nights of entertainment. Go for the premium dining plan - not exactly fine dining but plenty of choice and good value for money when it comes to filling up before a night out and recovering the next day. You get what you pay for with accommodation so if you want a bit more luxury go for the West Lakes Chalets.

The entry in was brilliant and very quick, staff were always very polite and helpful. As we went for the 80s weekend we were all adults,the shows were amazing, our room was basic and we only needed it for sleeping. As for the problems which happened with the rain it was unexpected to be as heavy (we saw no rats) ,the staff tried to accommodate everyone.

Went for the 80s/Halloween weekend. Had a 3 room apartment that had a leaky toilet that was partially fixed within an of reporting. Location to restaurant and complex was good. Food was reasonable and plenty of choice. Service in the main bars (centre stage especially) was very busy and really could do with more bar staff but they really did their best overall.Booked again for next year and we will see then.

Chalet we had was quiet, close to all amenities, warm but basic. This was as we, as a group of 6 women expected on an adult weekend. I would recommend the stay here. We visited for Oktoberfest and was not disappointed. We had a great time. Lots going on besides in several venues. This was our nearest venue as we travelled from S. Wales. We had a great time and already wanting to book this again next year.

Went to Shiiine on weekender and stayed in the fairgrounds apartments.Rooms was clean, and functional. The shop in the pavilion gave great service as did the bars. Burger king team was good to. The resort is under construction but did not affect what we needed.Booking office helped us out with another booking to.

We have been to Butlins twice in the last 12 months. Once with the kids and once on an adults weekend. The apartments are basic, beds are surprisingly comfortable but you will hear noise from passers by. Shops and bars are a short distance away if you don't want to be restricted. Music on adults weekend is fab...very good atmosphere. Everyone is happy and enjoying life. The bottomless brunch was 100% worth it on the adult weekend. Good laugh. Staff are on the ball with getting the drinks so you really do get your money's worth. There aren't as many rides as when I was a child but the beach is close and there are things for the kids to do on the front...like a mini park. It's cheap and cheerful... I wouldn't go expecting a 5 star holiday...it is a budget holiday with loads of entertainment.
