I needed to hire a scaffold platform to fit a log burner chimney and associated roof work. The on line booking was quick and easy and the pricing very competitive. The delivery was on time, as promised, and the delivery guy was friendly, professional and courteous. I got an email to see if I needed it longer but I didn't and the scaffold was collected next day as promised. Really easy process, first class service and I will use again.

Prices seem good but terrible service. My scaffold tower was delivered by HSS, they had no idea what parts I was supposed to have - considering I was left with no list I eventually worked out I had too many frames, not enough braces, the toe boards were the wrong size, and to top it off I couldn't lift the single platform up to the 2.7m height it was supposed to be at. Was told 3 times they would send out the missing brace and correct toe boards as well as an extra platform free of charge so I could put it together. Kept chasing, nothing. I gave up in the end, wish I hadn't bothered. Not sure where the service was poorest, SAB or HSS

We have hired a tower over 15 times now. The tower always arrives on time. The delivery drivers are very helpful and you get text updates to deliver/collect and renew the hire. The customer service team are helpful and knowledgeable when answering any queries and very pleasant. Good value hire too.All in all a first class service every time and I would recommend this company.

So far I had good experience with everyone in their office except Mark who was extremely rude. He had poor knowledge of the situation and blame the client for all the excuses made by Speedy that SAB hired for the equipment. Disgusting attitude

Website accepted order 2 weeks ago. Paid for including delivery.Today, 3 days prior to delivery, I'm told that the cost was incorrect. Delivery is now £200 instead of £12.50.Website making claims company cannot fulfil. I'm left having to make another plan or absorb the cost of their mistake.Not good

Recently hired a wacker and slab lifter to do my drive, i was advised that they sub-hired the equipment and that they pass on the discounts to their customers,which is fair enough as i did price round first. The items i hired were delivered between the times advised, the staff were polite and extremely helpful. When it came time to off-hire the equipment, i was asked if i needed it any longer but i was no longer in need of it, they did advise it can take up to 3 days if the company they sub-hire to was busy, but it was collected the next day. All in All, i was happy with the service and prices quoted, which were the cheapest i found anywhere.

I have been using these for 7 years on and off, and I can honestly not fault them. Price has been great and their customer service even better, the only times I have issues is their suppliers who have made mistakes, or delays etc (same as if I went direct but for more money), phone SAB and they've tried what they can to fix it (sometimes partial order filled from another supplier etc). Any negatives towards SAB is not understanding that you're getting the same as if you went direct, but for cheaper and with SAB's support. I even bought them cookies over Christmas for how well they done by my business.

Hired a tower, never explained it would not come with build instructions, had no check list for parts, didn't turn up on time, wouldn't even let you inspect it to make sure it was OK. Would never use these again shocking service. Con artists, they didn't even supply the tower they used a 3rd party
