Snowdonia Vans

Hired a van for Glastonbury. Honest friendly service, with well looked after vans. Would recommend to anyone.

Great service, good campers and on hand or beautiful North Wales.Great size for the Snowdonia roads.We loved our holiday.

We booked our holiday well in advance using the company's online calendar, all was confirmed as secured. A month later and a few days before we were due to leave for our trip, we were told the dates we'd originally booked couldn't be honoured and that we could have a refund if we wanted, or could swap our booked days around (due to staffing issues). However, we'd already booked a campsite and other things based around the dates we initially chose. Luckily these were able to be moved to the new dates so worked out fine, but this could have easily left us significantly out of pocket - we were lucky. We went ahead and had a great time in the van itself and really enjoyed driving around and camping for three nights. We handed the van back and were sad to say goodbye to it. We then had to chase up a number of times via email, text and phone, to get our £250 deposit back which took a week, rather than this being returned on the same day as the van was dropped off (which is stated in the terms and conditions). Overall, these seem like good, friendly chaps running the business, but the rental vans side of the venture seem like an afterthought and is let down by basics like honouring dates booked and returning deposits in a timely manner. It's a shame really but I doubt we'd use them again and due to the above 'unreliability', overall, it left us with a negative start and end to the experience, so we won't be recommending Snowdonia Vans to others.

Had the pleasure of hiring a van off Matt at Snowdonia Vans for 4 nights away in the Lakes. Matt was very understanding when I said I was going to be late picking up the van and even offered to stay and wait for as long as it took. He was very helpful in showing us how to use all the equipment. The van was nice and clean and looked the part. We spent 4 nights in the Lakes with quite a lot of rain but we were really comfortable in the van without any issues. Would highly recommend if you ever fancy a go at a campervan.

Excellent service all round. Really friendly guy who was more than happy to help and show us around the van. The van itself was excellent. If you want a smart, spacious camper van with everything inside that you'll need to do a tour of your chosen destination then Snowdonia Vans are ideal!!!
