Wonderful beach. The view of the cliff and the castle is the most beautiful in the world. I recommend everyone to visit this place. I could be on this beach for hours!

This is a great beach, especially for tide pools and swimming BUT, wear swim shoes. This beach has lesser weever fish hiding in the sand in and out of the tide pools. Weever fish are about 3-5 inches long and have a very painful sting from spikes on their heads. Also beware giant hogweed in the walk down to the beach. The sap is horrible and will give you blisters. Other than that, great beach. Very peaceful with magnificent views and lots of wildlife.

I've been to some wonderful beaches in my life and this has to be one of the best. Cliffs, a ruined castle AND a ruined country house, a mysterious island, and a big, wide beach. It was windy, mind. It's £3 to park, which is a bargain!

What a lovely place. Beach, views, harbour and castle. Access to beach is via a single track road/ dirt track, which due to weather is quite uneven in places. There is a £3 entry to this access, payable at electronic barrier. Toilets at 2nd parking area. Really this beach is definitely worth a visit.

Take my son here every year. Private land, so there is a fee (used to be £3) to raise the barrier. Off track drive, quite bumpy, but it's all worth it once you see that beach! Absolutely beautiful. There are toilets in portacabins.

Beautiful beach with its own castle hidden away in the trees. Turn left as you pass through the entrance & you will find the ruins of Auldhame castle. Views of Tantallon castle & bass rock. Parking was £5.

Amazing beach with closed view of both Tantallon Castle and Bass Rock, surrounded by a woodland and an estate with a castle, stables and horses. Very relaxing dog friendly walk!

Stunning beach and well worth the 3 quid entry fee. Great view of the bass rock and the rear of Tantallon Castle
