If I could add zero stars I would. I sent my claim for a cancelled ski holiday on 24th March and 7 months later I am still waiting for a conclusion. Our fiends who booked to go on holiday with us received a full refund 3 weeks after sending their claim to their travel insurance. Insurance was with Virgin using Travel Claims. I will never use Virgin or any company underwritten by Travel Claims again.

Absolutely shocking experience from Insure and Go and Travel Claims Services. Submitted a straightforward claim relating to a travelling trip being ruined by COViD, losing out on flight money and excursions that were cancelled. Claim was over £2,200. They offered to pay £12.02. I work for a loss-adjusters, and it should have been the simplest claim for a disrupted trip in line with the policy. They took 7mths to give me a final answer, constantly lying to me about when someone will look at my claim. If an insurance policy does not cover these costs incurred, what is the point of it? I advise to use a reputable insurance company in future.I had been insured with them for years, and this was the first time I used them. Based on my experience, I feel it is my duty to warn others of their behaviour.

I inadvertently used this company as I thought I was using insure and go so when I bought the travel insurance that was the reviews I read, when it came to making a claim as we had to cancel our famliy holiday due to my husband having an accident i was transferred to this company and read all the exceptionally negative reviews and thought there was no way we were going to get any money back. But today I have had the money transferred it took 5-6months and a couple of chasing phone calls but these things are never quick and having read the reviews i expected longer if at all and they were always polite and helpful on the phone. so as someone who always goes on reviews and would've avoided this company I am a perfectly happy and relived customer.

I did my very claim on the 29/02/2020 for a medical emergency. I have emailed them everything they asked for, i have since emailed them another 3 times, with more information. They tell me they will have a handler sort it out, but so far nothing. We had a medical emergency on holiday and had to rebook flights, extend hotel room, pay for medical treatment etc. This is very worrying when you get nothing back as yet from a travel insurance company. This experience has put me off going abroad now. I have emailed this company again this morning and told them if i get no joy within the next couple of weeks, i shall be going to the travel ombusman. Why is this company still in business with the many unhappy people that have used lthem. I would not use this company again, and do more research next time. They take your money in good faith but seems they don't want to pay out and using the coronavirus as an excuse to say they are extra busy. Just not ethical at all in my opinion.UPDATE 7/7/2020Well this morning they decided to finally pay out. They gave me £100 less then i claimed for as they didn't pay out for cancelled flights. Never would i used this company again, and would urged anyone to steer clear.

Absolutely appalling company, do not use them and avoid at all cost.My late mother was insured with Insure and Go, through Travel Claims Services Ltd. They had no interest in resolving our claim, would not reply to emails and were almost impossible to reach on the phone. They rely on you just giving up and going away so they can avoid paying out. After more than a year, many many emails and wasted time and complaints, we finally received a pityful payout. This company should be struck off and not allowed to trade in my opinion.

Waste of oxygen speaking to anyone at this company. I have had an active claim for over one year. I keep getting the same e-mail, 'awaiting bank details from the treating facility', despite that I have provided it to them countless times. Today they have had the cheek to say that they require further information about the incident. Sink the building into the ground.

For me, has to be 5 star. I had read a lot of the previous comments and was worried that I may fall victim to the same problems. But for me personally, the process was faultless from start to finish. Family reasons prevented me from flying out on holiday last year, and once I had the claim forms, I sent them off in late November.From then on, I had constant communication with them, sent them everything they asked me for paperwork wise, and had an email saying my claim had been successful on Tuesday 14/1/2020. I was informed that the money would be in my account within 5-10 working days, and I have it already in less than 48 hours.Such a shame to see other people have been affected by this company, but for me personally it's been a positive experience.Thank you very much

Unlike most other reviews I found Travel Claims Services Ltd to be pretty good. They were a bit slow in settling the claim but when I chased them a month after making my claim I was told that it had been cleared for payment about 3 weeks before and the cheque should have been issued. The person I spoke to promised to chase the payments department and get back to me.Two days later I received a cheque for the full amount of my claim less excess and a day later had a phone call to verify that I had received it.I would have given them a higher rating but for the initial delay.I think it is important when making any insurance claim to make it a fair claim, covering only what you have lost and to provide all relevant information that is requested. It is equally important, and I speak from experience, when buying insurance to verify that you are getting the cover you might need. Never assume! If something is not included in the policy wording, you can guarantee you are not covered for it.
