Stay With Empire

Owner was very nice but there was a loud KAREN on top floor making noise after 12 no respect for anyone. From the outside looks bad but inside is decent. Parking free on street outside if you can get a space.

Been awake all night the first apartment we booked with them wasn’t available so they sent us elsewhere only to find that was also occupied we reached out to there team only to get referred to-their (emergency) contact of which heard what we had to say told us they’d ring back and never did was a long ride home with no sleep how could they leave us high and dry like this very poor business I envy the sucker who next books with them over 10 hours we was there didn’t start getting back till morn as had to sleep in the car. Save your money folks and your dignity. Totally defeated

I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it for families!A couple of bits to point out,We stayed here on 31st July 2020 in flat 4 on Charles Street for 2 nights. ( 2 adults and 3 children)First impressions were that the flat was in a run down area but not far from the beach roughly about 10 minutes walk which was great. The check in and check out was contactless so we didn't have any issues there. Upon entry there is a strong smell of Damp and the rail on the stairs was filthy and black and sticky ( in these times when we have covid 19) . Locks to doors were very stiff so we spent time trying to open both the main door and the fire door as advised by the host.The flat was nice on the inside just not cleaned thoroughly as we found hairs on the beds and sofas and dust on windows which we took photos of.The main problem was the hot water in the apartment, we only had 3 minutes of hot water and had to boil water in the kettle to have a bath as there simply wasn't enough hot water for a a family of 5. The electric shower was also not working properly, i raised this with the owner Marika who was very dismissive, did not answer call only texts and offered very poor customer care. I was told i wanted a free stay, I was disrespectful, and should leave if I wanted to. I never asked her for a refund but she was insistent that I was getting non when all we asked was for the hotwater to be sorted out , but was told as she had no previous complaints about hot water it would have to wait until her electrician was free.Now I wouldn't have had a problem with it if she had been courteous to me. I also checked the reviews on booking.com and other guests had had similar complaints as mine and I pointed this out to her. Next time I suggest you treat your customers with dignity and respect and be ready to adress issues promptly otherwise you will loose customers. I paid for my service and insinuating we wanted to stay here for free was very very insulting.

It was nothing like it was meant to be to the point we had to leave and the property wont even give refund after so much evidence shown to why we wouldnt stay the night.

honestly dont bother staying here is damp and in dis-repair we booked as the photos looked like it had just been done up and the price was ok or at least I thought attached some photos of the place don't book here living room is damp so could not let my daughter sleep in there so I had to take the sofa my partner said the bed had springs sticking up in the mattress because it was old and thin the bathroom door looks like it's been punched in the bath runs out fo hot water half way though running the tap runs cold won't go back emailed then when we arrived with my issues no one bothered to come back to our stay away from this please they charge a cleaning fee but clearly don't use it as the places was dirty mold on the bath plug as well discusting

Firstly- I was given flat 4. On the top floor with 4 flights of stairs, and more stairs inside the flat itself, despite telling them I was travelling with a disabled toddler. There was no travel cot provided and we had to keep the baby shut in the very small rooms or she'd have fallen down the stairs.The whole place is run down, dirty and dingy. We've been to Blackpool many times so are aware it's not famous for its 5* accommodation, so we weren't expecting the Earth, but the images of this place are false advertising.The bed and sofa bed are both so uncomfortable, flat and exposed springs, that you can't sleep on them. The door is missing from the wardrobe and propped against a wall. The kitchen was clean and very well equipped but the walls had holes round the sockets and the grout between tiles was dirty/mouldy. No tea/coffee provided but the sugar pot is full of rock hard sugar. Hot water pressure from the kitchen sink is non existent.There are electric heaters in the bedroom and living room. Kitchen one doesn't work. Bathroom is freezing and the door doesnt close properly to lock it, mould round the bath, only one roll of toilet roll was provided so we had to go and buy some. Dirty carpets, old and bobbly bedding, the place is a nightmare. 5 mins walk from the beach and the tower is literally the only thing I can say good about it
