The Bishop
I booked the Bishop back in April for a special celebration and had a smashing time. We were upstairs with ample space for dancing and seating comfortably. Our own bar and WC area. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I ordered the sharing platters and they were amazing. Everybody had a fantastic time and the views from their balcony of the river and Kingston bridge at night were an added bonus. Thank you guys!

Such a lovely pub, I’ve been coming here since I was little and it has never disappointed. Our waitress Bianca was amazing, she made us feel extremely comfortable and welcomed into the restaurant. We couldn’t have asked for better service. And our roast dinners were incredible! 100% recommend to anyone who loves a warm pub by the river!

The food we saw, through the rain splattered window, looked nice...the deception of an over inflated Yorkshire pud could fool anyone when it's belting down. Couldn't get a table at Browns, so this seemed the best option in worsening conditions. Despite the pub and it's staff's rather 'no frills' appearance the £21 price for roast beef (a pound or so higher than Browns) was reassuringly high...if you know what I mean. But as soon as we got in, it didn't feel like the quality or style Kingston normally offers. We'd been rapidly gotten drinks, so there was no turning back really. When the food arrived our instincts were sadly justified - two terrible meals were served to us: just so bland with two awful fatty and grisly cuts of meat. Being typicaly over polite we ate what we could, paid the bill and ran for the hills.If it was half the price I wouldn't write this review, I'd just accept that you 'get what you pay for'. But this was simply an overpriced poor meal.Highly unrecommended.In short...ripped off!!

All 10 of us had an amazing lunch & drinks made all the more special by being looked after by the lovely Bianca! She was very attentive, polite and we were made to feel very welcomed. Nothing was too much trouble she absolutely deserves 5 stars for service!

Excellent ! The food was delicious, and we have really enjoyed our lunch there. Our server was Neda and she was brilliant, efficient and friendly. The Bishop is charming and well decorated. Will come back soon.

I think the food quality declined, cold and not enjoyable at all.Staff are friendly.It’s by the river so a nice place still.

Went to the Bishop for work Christmas dinner, really great night with amazing food, great atmosphere and really attentive staff, can't fault it.Shout out to Emily & Ben, really looked after us all evening and made sure it all went without a hitch and were great company.looking forward to our next visit.Thank you the Bishop for a wonderful evening we will remember for a long time.Marc

Very generous plates and lovely food. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and lovely location by the river. Staff was generally nice. Slightly disappointed we booked a table for 22 people and we got give small round tables and a few sparse square ones. We had to arrange them ourselves in order to make it look like a group of 22 and not bave people scattered around. But overall was good and I would highly recommend.

Went for brunch with my Mum at this amazing pub by the river. It's one if the best brunches I've had in a long time. Service was fabulous from Jamie and Max, and the food is fantastic. Really freshly cooked. I ordered the full English and my Mum ordered a bacon and egg bap. We also had tea and a cappuccino. Loved it!
