Woods Removals Dorset

Woods were excellent. We did shop for quotations, but did feel that this local company, although not the least expensive, was going to be the best one for us. We had the full packing service. The move took 2 full days. The men arrived early and got on with the job. The finish time was quite late, so a long final day. They asked questions if they needed to, and worked well as a team. I kept them supplied in coffee and biscuits, I know they were grateful for that! We would highly recommend Woods for any removals.

Great service from Woods. A short notice completion meant we were moving within 3 days of booking. Excellent work from Dan and Bobby over the 2 day move out / in. Would highly recommend.

Had a fantastic service from this company from speaking to Veronica in the first instance, a visit from Shaun to give an estimate of the move, and then on moving day, Darren, Stuart and Bobby couldn’t have been more considerate and professional. Fantastic team of removal men this week - Stuart and his team did a cracking job moving my big house into a smaller one. They were so respectful and friendly to this very emotional single mummy. Thank you Woods!

Found them to be very expensive. Got quoted nearly £1000 for a 2bed flat move going less than 10 minutes up the road. That price didn't include everything just some heavy items like sofa, bed, washing machine and upto 10 boxes. This was more than my neighbour was quoted who moved from a 3 bedroom house in Weymouth to dorchester... also had to chase my quote too.

My mother was moving from a house into a sheltered apartment. Mike & Chris from Woods were very hard-working, cheerful & helpful. They were very professional and made this experience a lot less stressful than we feared. The lads who helped unload were the same-hardworking, cheerful & very helpful. Cannot recommend them too much. Shaun appraised everything before hand and got it just right. Veronica was always very helpful & positive & my Mother really appreciated all the help.

I used Woods Removals this week and all the men were helpful and worked meticulously in a professional manner. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to take a bulk of the stress out of moving house.

Darren and co were highly efficient and helpful in every way. The move involved transporting to storage and later to the new property which was awkward for access. All carried out with care and good cheer. Admin could have been clearer with communication of costs and statements and not the cheapest but a job extremely well done.

I needed a storage unit emptied very quickly and on phoning the office they were able to tell me straight away the days and times that were available. They were able to tell me the cost over the phone and an official quote and agreement form came by email if not the same day the day after. So I was impressed with the office dept.Then I found the remover van was at the storage unit before the due time ready to start on the dot. The two lads that did the work were pleasant, efficient, professional, diligent and handled the goods with great care.I was impressed with the service and would not hesitate to recommend them.
