Julian Wadden have been managing my property on a fully managed basis for about 5 years now, as I’m a landlord who can’t easily visit the property. Had a recent change of tenants after long term tenants moved on. Mark and Ryan they helped advise me on what redecorating and maintenance was needed and arranged everything with the tradespeople including expediting invoices I’d requested for tax reasons. In handing over to the Lettings team they filled up all viewing slots in the first weekend, collated a number of offers from prospective tenants, many of who were willing to pay over the advertised rate. Abigail the Lettings negotiator clearly helped drum up interest here, getting a good but fair price for everyone and the whole process was fast and seamless. Just what you want when everything would otherwise be so difficult when you’re not living locally.

The whole team at Julian Wadden have been fantastic from start to finish. We did some shopping around to find them in the first place and their honest, straight forward and always timely approach was exactly what we needed. Nicola deserves a special mention - her kindness, good humour and wonderfully unflappable nature was a real treat. The JW services was professional, friendly, open and honest throughout the process of selling my apartment. Nicola handled the sales process throughout and was very responsive and proactive in pushing things along. She kept me well informed during the process. Really great experience in a complicated slow moving chain. Nicola helped to calmly and persistently keep the flow of information going and place urgency. Communication from our sellers and us was clear and concise.

As a landlord in Manchester I have been extremely unhappy with the low level of service and lack of professionalism displayed over the last month. Lettings staff have simply ignored emails and failed to return phone calls to answer basic queries. Really disappointing especially as all their fees have recently increased.

I never leave reviews generally however my experience with Julian Wadden didsbury was abysmal. Whilst renting our property there were several issues wrong with the house, when reported on the portal these were promptly dealt with. However if you need to email the team, don’t expect a reply. We sent countless emails which were continuously ignored. Julian Wadden tried to pass the blame off the the landlord for not responding - as our property managers it was simply unacceptable to be so ignorant. It got to the point firstly that I had to contact citizens advice for help as we were having zero communication. They became our middle man! Even citizens advise we’re shocked by what we were experiencing. It continued so I felt it was only necessary I put in a formal complaint - I received confirmation it had been received and would be looked into by a team leader. Guess what, that was ignored too! Never heard anything after that. After all the issues and stress we had there was never even any apologies from members of the team. If you’re renting I’d avoid like the plague!

The whole team have been absolutely brilliant from the very beginning to the very end of of our house buying and selling process. A special mention for Nicky who has been outstanding! We've both bought and sold with them and throughout the process they have been extremely helpful and responsive, professional and polite and, most importantly, got both the sale and the purchase done with minimal fuss. We couldn't be happier with the service we've had; they are the polar opposite of the experiences we've had with other estate agents in the past, so we won't use anyone else from now on.
