The Key Man

When I was looking to get a spare key made for my Dacia I was advised to give The Key Man a call. I spoke to Ian and explained what I needed he said the key would need to be ordered and he would call me. I received a text 2 days later and we arranged a time to suit me and Ian arrived on time and had a new key made in no time.Thanks again.

The service is terrible wouldn't use him. Again meant to be at my house at 4 and till waiting he said it will be here at midnight we booked him on Friday to come to us we cancelled him he hung the phone up on us that not professional

The Key Man helped me get back into my car. He was prompt, friendly and very helpful. Got back in right away. Great value. Give him a try before you call a national company or your insurer.

The key to our campervan snapped off on the ignition while on holiday. Luckily we could still drive and after a quick call to Iain we drove to his location. The broken key was retrieved from the ignition and 2 new keys made for us. Service was excellent and cost was very reasonable. Also Iain is a really nice guy.

Got us into the car, easily and this was after the AA tried and couldn't do it. My partner had locked the keys in the boot whilst we were 150 miles from home. Can't rate Iain Hume highly enough.

What a gentleman! We made the mistake of closing the boot of our Tiguan with the key inside the boot! We were away in Crieff and were about to return home when this happened. We had packed everything inside including our dog! We got in touch with RAC and they got in touch with Iain and he was with us in an hour. Considering his business is based in Stirling this was a pretty good response time. He managed to open the car door in half an hour or so and we were relieved to be on our way back. He was confident and reassuring and well mannered. If you are not with a road rescue and if you are faced with this issue I would recommend to get in touch with Iain. Highly recommend! I asked this person to help me...I really needed his help as my Saab key had fallen apart, leaving me in a precarious position! This was on a weekend day and was told no key in stock...will contact supplier on Monday and sort it...he'd get back to me then. No response....day two, no response, day three, same!!! I called to no avail, no response!!! I texted him to ask for his help AGAIN...no response, AGAIN!!!! He was not only charging me £150 for the key, he didn't even bother to reply to me!!! Getting a genuine key for £70 supplied and programmed....and it is not from this critter!!! Shocking service and shocking ability to reassure that you will be helped...just as I first asked...HELP ME, PLEASE!!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!

I got a BMW 5 series pretty high tech car and got a few lock smiths to unlock it for me, had been 3 days so a friend of mines recommend Iain from the key man, called him up, took him 10 minutes to arrive to my location and it only took him 5 mins to unlock the car, for a bargain of a price, highly recommended to all. Thanks Iain, you're a pal.

Was struggling to get a replacement flip key, which folds away, for my daughters Renault Twingo. Tried a few locksmiths etc, but without success, nobody seemed able to source any (even via the internet) until Iain was recommended to me.Sure enough, got in touch with him and he had a suitable key in his vast stock of replacement keys. Met up with him at Stirling Uni. as arranged (he was bang on time) and it took him about half an hour to get the key cut and programmed in.Went about his business in a no fuss, professional manner and I was very impressed.Thanks again Iain.
