The Crown
Had a superb afternoon here on Saturday, Jack the landlord and Joe the barman both friendly and knowledgeable, beer was top-notch and very reasonably priced compared to other pubs in the area; clientele is drawn from all spheres of society and the atmosphere is grand with a real buzz when busy. Empanadas were also superb, thoroughly recommended.

A very charming renovation for a pleasant Highgate boozer. There's no food available but you can order empanadas from next door. The drink selection is small but effective - they've got some lovely spritzes for summer. Staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. The 'secret' beer garden out the back is also a lovely little sun-trap! We'll definitely be back!

This pub is Highgate's newest. Conveniently located on the high street its back garden is surprisingly large. Whilst they don't do food they're happy for customers to bring their own food in, especially from the amazing empanada place next door. In terms of service, Kyle, Joe and Jack are a hugely welcoming absolute dream team of bar staff. A visit to Highgate without popping into The Crown is barely worth doing!

This is a great little pub in the centre of old Highgate. Lovely original carved features in the main room give it almost the feel of the Captain's cabin in old time sailing ship. Very nice beer garden at the back. Gent's loo modern and immaculate. Friendly atmosphere. Recommended.

Popped in for the first time since the place opened 6 months ago. This little bar in Highgate village.I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in. Beautifully decorated, fairy lights which give it a cosy feel. Friends playing board games and cards.Although it doesn't provide food cooked on the premises, they do allow you to order food from local restaurants to eat while enjoying a drink.We will definitely be back as we only popped in for one and stayed the entire evening.

A beautiful recently opened pub in Highgate village, with an exceptionally lovely garden at the back and very cosy areas inside, including the proper fireplace at the back. They don't serve food but allow one to order from few places nearby. Very friendly staff and good selection of drinks. Definitely one of the best places around. Would give it 5 stars but whenever I went there rock/grunge or similar was playing on speakers, which is ok but I'd personally just prefer to hear some nice jazz or other smooth music rather than muddled up guitar riffs in such place. Imho it's just more fitting for the place as such to play some more melodic sounds for one to relax. But that's just my personal preference, guess the playlist has to appeal to younger audience as well. Either way, if you are nearby it's definitely a pub to stop by.
