The Museum of Norwich at the Bridewell
Nice local.history museum that looks at industries that Norwich has been associated with such as Colmans Mustard and shoe making. There is an entry fee but it is free for Art Fund members.

I'm taking part in an 'art based textile course', at this great museum. The 'lectures' and activities a very accessible, regardless of talent, expertise and experience. It is calm and the staff kindly, patient and helpful... Thank-you

Fascinating museum of All Things Norwich. Some great exhibits and some cracking stories. The woman at the desk was very knowledgeable and helpful (filling in as a tourist information officer!). I only had an hour to look round, before the museum closed, but it's definitely worth another, longer, visit.

Spent a happy 1 or 2 at the Bridewell. Museum charts Norwich industry from medieval times to modern times. Learnt a lot I didn't know despite my experience working in a Heritage centre. Also had nostalgic trip into my own childhood. There's lots of interactive things for kids of all ages to do. Including the hats which my husband enjoyed trying on. Highly recommend it.

What an excellent museum!!I took time to look at the medieval period which primarily interests me, but there is so much here charting the cities history over the decades that anyone with even a passing interest in history or Norwich would appreciate this place.Recommended and I will return someday too.

We got complimentary tickets when we bought the tickets to the castle. Was a very interesting museum as they showed many aspects of the life from the old times from hundreds years ago to recent years. Worth a visit.
