Pangdean Old Barn

We first visited Pangdean Barn in the pouring rain, and we knew we wanted it to be our wedding venue. The barn is beautiful, the team are so warm and friendly, and they couldn’t do more for you. We sat down with the team to talk through our plans, and they were so helpful and nothing seemed too difficult. Their relaxed and chilled nature made it so easy to work with them and made it even more enjoyable. With their experience and guidance you knew you were in good hands. The day itself went off without a hitch, the whole day felt seamless. We were lucky to have glorious sunshine on the 23rd June, and got married outside in the stunning garden with rose bushes in full bloom. We had numerous comments from our guests complimenting the venue and the food, to say how great it was. The team work so hard to put together such a fantastic day from beginning to end. They do it so well, that everything just slots into place, giving you nothing to worry about. All you have to do is turn up and enjoy the day.We can’t thank the team at Pangdean enough, Nicky, Sarah, Gill, Jamie, Krysia and Bryony for everything you have done to make our wedding day so special and memorable. We hope to return for an event someday. If you are considering Pangdean for an event, don’t hesitate to choose this wonderful venue, you will not regret it.

Pangdean go above and beyond for all their weddings. From start to finish the communication was amazing. We had a bit of a wobble about the cost of wedding food, and they adapted the menu to accomodate us, also ensuring the meat was halal. What really stood out for us is how sustainable the place is which was something that is so important to both of us - the vases, card box, decor all being provided rather than buying lots of single use items. They even threw in some left over sparklers for us to use on the night. Our guests loved riding around on the go karts, playing all the garden games and our family commented on how well they looked after my elderly grandparents. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I can't begin to describe how incredible Nicky, Bryony and the whole Pangdean team were. It's a gorgeous location and we were very lucky with the weather, but it's the service they provided that made the wedding day the joy it was. Throughout the whole planning process they were responsive, friendly, flexible and willing to do whatever it took to make the day what they wanted. They clearly know exactly what they're doing thanks to years of experience, but it never feels like something churned out of a wedding factory. Even our guests commented on how lovely they all were. And the food was PHENOMENAL. I keep dreaming of eating our wedding meal again. I'm so glad that we're moving down to Brighton soon so we can still pop in for Taste of Pangdean evenings.It was perfect from start to finish. Thank you!

Absolutely incredible venue with attention to detail and excellent customer service!As a wedding photographer I truly enjoyed my staying at Pangdean Old Barn this summer photographing a stunning wedding.The location of this venue is really great just off the motorway north of Brighton. It was really easy to find and the parking wasn't an issue at all.The management of this place is absolutely perfect. I have met Jamie the operation manager and Ayisia who was helping Jamie. Both done an amazing job looking after the couple, the guest and all the suppliers including myself.The kitchen was amazing, too. We had the most incredible day for our wedding in May 2023, and honestly can't thank the Pangdean team enough for everything they did in the lead up and on the day. As a team they are second to none, and we loved every minute of the Pangdean experience. Everything from the moment we looked around was approached with a total can-do attitude, seamless communication, and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. SO many of our guests have commented on what a fantastic venue it is, how beautiful the gardens and the barn are, how delicious the food was, but most of all what a brilliant team they were and how welcomed and looked after all our guests felt. They made the day run so smoothly - honestly we couldn't have asked for more (we've also been dreaming of our wedding meal ever since - SO tasty and plentiful).If you're weighing up whether to book this venue or not, honestly just do it - you absolutely won't regret it.

My husband and I had the most brilliant wedding last week at Pangdean. Everything was wonderful. The barn looked beautiful, the flowers locally sourced from Pitfield Farm beautifully arranged, the food was top notch, the organisation was excellent. Even the rain couldn’t spoil our fun. Nothing was too much trouble for Jamie, Krysia, Bryony, Sarah, Nicky and everyone involved - from the last minute prep right to the final minutes. We would recommend Pangdean to anyone looking for the perfect day. So many happy memories!

Getting married here this year and the team have been so amazingly welcoming and genuinely interested in our day. The barn itself has a lovely rustic vibe and is spacious inside, it also has a beautiful outside area where you can have the ceremony if you choose

An exceptional venue. I came to an amazing hundredth birthday party. I forgot to notified the venue that I was gluten-free. I mentioned it on arrival and was treated like a princess. Absolutely blown away by the swift response and stunning gluten-free afternoon tea I was given. l would thoroughly recommend the venue to anybody. An amazing venue with exceptional staff and cuisine.

A delightful venue just outside Brighton. This is the perfect setup for a wedding, corporate function, staff family fun day or conference. Settings for both indoor and outdoor events.Food and catering are excellent too. And there's parking. It's definitely a venue to access by car and not public transport.
