Took my partner to The Rum Kitchen for first time on a Tuesday and it was amazing. We’ve not long got back from Jamaica and the food was bang on! Both Ella and Lilly were super friendly and were great with the service. Food came out within 30 mins and cocktails were yum!

Nice cocktails, tasty food. Fast, attentive service to begin with -- less so when we left. We were there from 1800 until 2130 on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy, very clean, some better seating at the back by the look of it. Will remember that for next time. Recommend the chickpea curry with plantain -- delicious.

5/5 on all scales. Super friendly staff. Lively and chill music. Great tasting drinks at a good city price! And an amazing location too.Super glad I found this Gem, and thank you Daisy for all your service for us tonight! We will be back again.

absolutely love this place. the food, the music and the staff are amazing. i always get the jerk bowl (the chicken is so tender and you can get extra gravy as well) and their cocktails are usually 2-4-1 when i go and are really strong and tasty. ella is such a lovely waitress, always smiling and so helpful with recommendations. can’t recommend this place enough whether that be for the food or the drinks! overall this place is a 10/10

The place is ran by a bunch of trainees! No one was taking responsibility, either pretending to be busy or posting on social media! Manager was not accountable for the poor service but put the responsibility on his staff that is the only person that was trying to serve the entire restaurant! He was more concerned with having drinks at the bar with staff that had already finished their shifts.Chef himself was serving the food as serving staff were standing around not working. We left after starters as we had to wait over an hour for the food, and even longer for them to clear the dishes away before we could even get the main courses.

Booked this place in preparation for a Sean Paul concert that night, wanted to get the Jamaican vibes in early. The music certainly got us in the mood for the upcoming concert. The Rum Kitchen is very clean. Felt the tables towards the front were a bit on top of each other. Despite it not being overally busy in the restaurant there was only one waitress who was rushed off her feet.... Lots of online orders were being made. However she was lovely, friendly and helpful. All you could want in a server and a credit to the business. We ordered a jerk bowl, consisted of boneless chicken, rice, peas and slaw. Just the right amount of food and the meat just melted in your mouth. Wasnt as spicy as i was expecting, il be adding heat next time. There wasnt any dumplings on the menu. Thats a huge surprise and was quite missed bu us. Despite living near the two London branches i have never visited the Rum Kitchen and i will be returning. My only criticism wouod be the toilets were upstairs, stairs that match those of a wetherspoons, with a broken foot it was quite a mission but thankfully not impossible, im not sure if there was a disabled option downstairs.

We came in for an early lunch. The service was great. Our server was able to provide recommendations and really knew the menu. Directed us to the cocktail happy hour which went down well. Food was good but my bun was a little burnt but hey I was so full I didn’t need it and the pickles that came with the burger were huge. I loved it!

Dropped into The Rum Kitchen for a late lunch and early cocktail. Our server, Daisy, was super friendly, helpful and attentive. Signature cocktails were 2 for 1 and were fab. We had the sharing platter which was delicious with the highlight being the Suya roti. Great atmosphere and good music too. Will definitely be returning!

Visited the Rum Kitchen for Bottomless Brunch and it was absolutely fantastic. Food was exceptional, drinks are continuously topped up and we didn’t have to keep asking for refills! Our waitress, Rosie, provided us with a great experience, exceptional service and greeted us with a huge smile on her face. Would definitely return!
