Day Lewis Pharmacy Plymouth West Hoe

Fantastic traditional little pharmacy. Unlike chemist's in some of the major supermarkets these days, they are always helpful and have gone out of their way to assist with emergency prescriptions etc several times.

Excellent and lovely staff

Having carelessly dropped my prescription medications into the sea at the start of a sailing holiday I phoned and enquired if Day Lewis pharmacywould dispense an initially e-mailed prescription from my surgery in Llanelli ( 3 cheers for Avenue Villa surgery and it’s wonderful staff!!) followed by a posted card copy to fulfil legal and NHS requirements.The answer was an instant YES and 3 hours after my original phone call I was collecting my medication.A huge thank you to this wonderful local and almost certainly independent pharmacy as my initial phone calls to Boots ( my mistake!) went unanswered for 8 minutes!!!Please support this excellent local pharmacy!!
