Stephensons Catering Equipment

Not exactly a great experience. Ordered some teapots mid January. No word apart from the order confirmation. Chased it 3 weeks later. One item still on back order. Will send both items when both in stock. No problem. Month goes by, nothing. Chased again.The out of stock item then turns up but not the other item that supposedly was in stock. Chased again. Got an apology on the phone but no great enthusiasm to it.I get that, items can be out of stock but, you know, communicate with people. I did explain this to the person on the phone but I think they probably hear it all the time reading the other reviews.2nd item finally arrives. 6 days short of 3 months since I ordered it. No apology, no feedback email, obviously.As I said to the lady on the phone in February I won't be using you again. And I won't.

The service from Stephenson's was appalling. I initially placed an order with them on 11/09/2021 - all the items were listed at that time as having a lead time of 6-9 days - something which is still the case now although that is clearly not true based on my experience. 10 days later I received an email to say that some of the order was not available and would not be dispatched until November - I was not in a rush so decided to wait. I asked specifically if they were confident the order would arrive.November came and went - no word from Stephenson's so I followed it up. The estimated delivery date was changed - this time to December which also came and went and still no order.Each time the delivery date passed I had to follow it up myself and eventually asked for a refund. The items I did receive are useless - who need 6 rice bowls and 6 mugs if the plates etc. are not there?After a considerable amount of discussion I eventually received a partial refund on the order but the whole experience was truly awful.The customer service manager Chris North was completely unhelpful. When I asked why Stephenson's had never provided any update on my order he replied - we are very busy, we don't have time to respond to queries - as customer services, surely responding to and updating customers is part of the job? My sales team and customer services advisors update customers as a matter of course - it is so important to provide your customers with information - something Mr. North doesn't seem to understand and frankly, if large companies and multi-nationals can provide a personalized customer service then I am not sure why Mr. North and his team are unable to do this. His final email to me was also slightly threatening which is completely unacceptable.All in all, not an experience to repeat and not a company I would ever recommend.

This is my first time ever buying stock from Stephensons and not sure about their delivery service. So before checking out I called seeking either 24 or a 48 hour delivery service. Given the time I was placing the order, I wasn't so sure, but my order arrived 24 hours later. I give many thanks to Paul and team for accommodating my order.

Back Order items arrived very quickly, very impressed with the customer service when ordering and from the delivery drivers. Will buy again.

Placed an order via a payment link that was sent to me, secure and easy. Got an order no. but no email confirmation, I went into the site but saw no order for me and showing nil stock. Fearing the worst, I queried this next day and was told my order was picked, packed and to expect it soon. Happy days.

Delivery's between 09:00/17:00.Will not let you drop before or after theses times..

They deliver when other failsI am newly opening a buisness and where I had numerous other companies letting me down but not these guys, I personally thank Jordan Ironmonger and the team for helping me outI ll be coming back soon !

Terrible customer service online items showing 3/5 days been over 10 days was told Friday then Monday now its Tuesday I phone up and my order still isn't ready this place is a joke !!
