Area Joinery

I purchased herringbone flooring at Direct Flooring and they recommended Area Joinery to put the flooring down. After 3 months or so, the laminated planks started splitting and raising at the corridor, until the point that the toilet door couldn’t be opened without pressuring the planks down. I contacted the guy who installed the flooring and after a few weeks chasing him, he came to try and fix the floor… It wasn’t fixed, so I contacted his manager from Area Joinery the month after. They came to see the problem and agreed to come back and fix it in a few weeks time. That was in December and it’s now May and they still haven’t come to fix the floor. I have texted and phoned the manager, Ian several times, and I’ve been ignored so far. So no, I don’t recommend this company as their treat to customers is rubbish.
