Broke down on the M18 halfway between two holiday destinations, miles from home. These guys took my car in an hour before they closed and had me back on the road in 45 minutes. Incredibly accommodating to both me and my puppy , and just all round lovely people. Highly recommend,

Brought my E250 in after having a terrible experience with Mercedes Doncaster, car was in limp mode. Fantastic service, car was diagnosed, part ordered and fitted in a matter of few hours. Lovely bloke who runs it, and he knows his stuff. Thank you so much, you have gained a very loyal customer. Will highly recommend!!!!!

Sent my car to M-Tech in Doncaster on several occasions and they always provide good service at good prices. They are Mercedes specialists but do a fine job on my Vauxhall.

Do not use this garage, I am not a disgruntled customer. I have had my leg pulled by this guy. Went in with a simple problem on my Mercedes Estate, the gentleman said it's unlikely to be that come to me, I have the best equipment and it'll most likely just be a leak. At this point I was happy to take to him as a second opinion and he seemed very knowledgeable. I rang and said I'll bring it now to be told, I have no room to store it in my yard rather abruptly. This was even when he was looking at it either that afternoon or first thing in the morning. I took it to somewhere local to park up, not his yard which had plenty of room by the way and handed him the keys. He didn't ring me for two days and when I rang he said his EXCELLENT kit was down due to an IT error. Maybe he was being honest or maybe he was too Busy. I chose to believe it was a genuine issue. He rang me 4 days later after weekend and said it's probably a leak or something else. I need to further investigate, another two days went by. By this time I rang every other day. I then rang him to be told I've had a look,it's a new part £500 all done. I thought that's not good but if it's sorted then I'll happily pay. Got the car back day later. Straight away it was doing the same thing. I rang immediately to be told he's away. 6 days later it goes back in, two days later I ring him because he won't ring you and he says I'll price up the parts. In summary he added a lot more money to the aftermarket price (£170) so I would buy the genuine part. At this point I got my car as enough was enough, on collection he was no where to be seen,. Funny that. Steer clear there are so many other genuine garages about. I will never use again.

I don’t recommend using this garage, it cost me considerable and the fault still wasn’t resolved despite reassurances it would be, after paying almost £500 to sort the problem then to be told it would be a further £1200 on parts allow, they clearly don’t know what they are doing. It would have been cheaper to go to Mercedes dealer. Or the chaps at Brigg.

Phoned M Tech Auto Services up at 8.45 am due to my E250 being in limp mode and by 9.00 am my car was booked in to be looked at. Even better I was given a lift back to work by Kev. What a fantastic gesture. At 2.45 pm I received a phone call to say my car had been sorted and was ready to be collected. I will definitely be using M Tech again and would highly recommend using them to anyone else having issues with their Mercedes.

TLDR - Kev Cannot Be Trusted With Your Car. He’d made up a part that doesn’t exist, and charged me almost £400 for its ‘replacement’.My E46 320i had broken down on the M180 and my recovery would only take me up to 10 miles. Given I needed to travel another 30 miles to get to home, I noticed M Tech Auto Services were nearby so I arranged for them to expect my car in for a repair.Left the car with Kev and he informed me that it’ll be a few days till he can get around to it which was fine with me. 2 days later, Kev calls and tells me that the car need a ‘fuel control module’, which is going to cost me £380 if I pay in cash. Given that this conversation was brief and over the phone, I explained that I just need the car running so get it done…he then adds that within the total cost is £15 of fuel which he had to put in. This confused me as the car had 80 miles range left in the tank when it stopped. Nonetheless, my mistake was that I decided to leave it with him and query it once I collect the vehicle. The next day was a Saturday, and I went to collect the vehicle and queried the work he’d done. I explained that I didn’t think the E46 320i has a separate control module for the fuel pump. He told me “oh it’s behind the glove box”.This exchange felt uncomfortable but I needed the car so I paid him whilst suspecting I’ve been taken for a mug. The following Monday I went to check with a BMW specialist if my suspicions were correct, the BMW specialist explained that the fuel gauge sensor on E46s can be unreliable so the car may have run out of fuel on the M180. The specialist also clarified that behind the glove box, the only part which relates to the fuel system is a relay. The specialist explained that the relay wouldn’t cost much to replace as the horn also uses the same type of relay.I went back to confront Kev about this and asked him to come clean or prove what works justified the £380. Initially he flat out refused to accept he’d lied, then his story started to falter and he admitted that behind the glove box there are only relays BUT he insisted on calling them “relay control modules” to justify his wording to me. At this point, he started to claim that he had done more work than he’d initially told me, supposedly he’d “cleaned debris from my fuel tank”.Insisting that he’s a ‘reputable mechanic’, he assured me that he’d prove me wrong and said email me the invoice for the ‘very expensive part’ he installed. It’s been over two weeks and I’ve heard zilch from ‘Kevin - The Blinker Fluid Specialist’. Mind you I’m not surprised, I imagine proving you’ve not ripped someone off, whilst you yourself know that you have, is probably quite tricky.I’d not be annoyed if he came clean when I confronted him, as I value honesty and accountability, but the man is a lying deceitful crook!Do yourself a favour and do not trust this man with your car.
