Bravas Tapas
I've eaten here a couple of times, always fab. On a sunny October day we dined on the terrace overlook the beautiful St Katharine Docks. I felt like I was on holiday. We shared vegetarian taps and my partner also tried a salmon dish. Everything is beautifully presented. The service was also excellent.

Called in here in the off chance as we had done a walk that finished in St Katherine’s Dock. The service was good, the food was outstanding particularly the pork belly and lamb chops. We had the cheapest bottle of wine which was excellent. We had 10 dishes between 4 of us and probably 3 each would be ideal. We felt it was good value for the quality of the food

The food here is a bit of a hit or miss for me for the price. Some of the dishes like the oysters and anchovies are very fresh and delicious but I found some of the meats and the bravas potatoes a bit on the dry side. Contrary to other reviews, service was really good for us.

Friendly staff, partner asked if they had a charging cable and one of the chefs was generous enough to lend his own.Food fantastic, best tapas had in London, had 6 plates between us and that more than enough.Thank you

An authentic Spanish restaurant near south bank. Located at a hidden place, surrounded by a delicate pier, and with several outdoor seats.Tapas dishes we’d tried were all delicious. Patata Bravas and the grilled octopus were the must-try.The indoor seats were quite stuffy in summer as the air conditioner did not work well. Staffs were very friendly

A really great place to eat amongst a lot of good competition!Limited menu, but that's intentional as the focus is on drinks. Having said that, the food we had was sensational!! Can't speak highly enough of the quality of it.Nice and quick with it being tapas, but staff super friendly and helpful.Would highly recommend a visit to eat, and would absolutely recommend having the Brioche pudding as it is next level good!

Delicious Tapas, But Disappointing Staff AttitudeI visited the Spanish Tapas Cafe during my trip to London in May, looking for a unique dining experience. As a lover of Spanish tapas, I had high hopes for this restaurant. The location itself was fantastic, offering an amazing view of a small boat pier. However, despite the delicious food, I found myself disheartened by the behavior of the staff.I started my meal with a glass of white wine and ordered a variety of tapas, including octopus, a cheese plate, and potatoes bravas. For dessert, I opted for green tea with torrija. I must admit, everything I ordered was exceptionally tasty, and I thoroughly enjoyed the culinary experience.Unfortunately, the positive impression of the food was overshadowed by the unprofessional attitude of the cooks and the host. The open kitchen design allowed me to observe the cooks as they prepared the dishes. While interacting with the waitress, I noticed one of the cooks making a distasteful grimace when I asked to grill more bread for my cheese plate. It felt as if he found the request bothersome and didn't want to fulfill it.
This incident shattered my initial enthusiasm for the place. After all, as a paying customer, I expected a basic level of courtesy and willingness to accommodate simple requests.Furthermore, there was a host who frequently appeared in the dining area. I witnessed a couple of female customers approach him to greet him with a kiss, only to see him spit on the floor and make disgusted faces after they left. This behavior was highly unprofessional and cringe-inducing. To make matters worse, the cooks started laughing at him, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. This kind of performance is not what customers expect or deserve to witness during their dining experience.Considering the aforementioned issues, I can only give the Spanish Tapas Cafe a three-star review, solely based on the food itself. While the location and the delectable dishes were noteworthy, the unprofessional behavior of the staff left a lasting negative impression. It is essential for the management to address these concerns to ensure a pleasant dining atmosphere and maintain the reputation of the establishment.

Great restaurant, I will definitely be back! The food is exquisite, from produce quality, cooking style and presentation. Good wine selection. The service is swift and efficient, there is no wait and the staff very polite and courteous.Ideally located on st Katherine’s Docks with views in the basin and a cosy atmosphere thanks to the well curated decor, this place is now one of my favourites in Wapping! There were three of us and we took 3 savoury tapas each to share followed by a single dessert between us three and were very satisfied by the portions.

This was a 5 star experience! A gorgeous restaurant in a lovely setting, a 2 minute walk from Tower Bridge, set on the edge of a gorgeous marina. The restaurant itself has a lovely quaint feel to it. The waiters were so kind and patient, giving an excellent service, even on a busy Saturday night! The food was excellent.Everything we ordered was delicious and we couldn’t find fault with a single thing we experienced. We had the cheese plate, jamon, spinach croquettes, pork belly, beef short rib and patatas bravas. Great selection of wine. Would definitely recommend!
