The gradient of the Derby Road makes any sensible man stop here for a beer, even when the mist has cleared. Good range of ales and pleasant bar staff.

Great little boozer on Derby Road. Used to be the 'Room with a Brew', then 'the Good, the Bad & the Drunk'.Good selection of beers and ciders, decent prices for town and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Big shout out to the fabulous Fran who greets you with a big smile and makes you feel most welcome every visit.Not tried the food yet, but it looks great !!Many thanks

Small but friendly there is a nice downstairs lounge and dartboard. Price is about £4.00 a pint which is normal for in town pubs.
