Red Lion Hotel
Great pub. Lots of old character, the staff were really friendly, as were the locals. Plenty of beer choice. Added to that there is plenty to do with pool, snooker and darts. Nothing to complain about at all.

One of the best pub environments ive ever been in. The people are friendly, the pub is spacious, got a great outside area. The staff and manager where so friendly i cant wait to go back again! They have a great selection of rums too! My christmas list sorted

Excellent pool table here, very well looked after, well lit and with plenty of space to play your shots. Haven't tried the 3/4 snooker table yet but it too looks well kept.

In the past this place was a bit of a dive but on a quiet Sunday afternoon we thought we'd try it out to see if things had changed, post Covid.People seemed to be distancing but that could be down to it being nearly empty and at least it had some sanitiser in various places.The barmaid was friendly but we only stopped for 1 because it was just all a bit bland and not bothered".Not as bad as it was (on this occasion) but still along way to go before it catches up to the other pubs in the area."
