Nevis Range Mountain Gondola
We thought the Gondola was very expensive as there wasn't a lot to do at the top unless you had a bike to do the trails on. We had a walk to view point, popped into the restaurant for a hot drink as it was very cold then down again. Lovely views from the top but had to pay £25 each to see.

Not cheap but well worth a visit, it's a great way to get up Aonach Mor to a couple of great view points with amazing views over the Nevis range and Ben Nevis itself...We pre-booked online so had our QR codes ready to just go straight through and had also pre paid our parking online (£5 all day and plenty of space). Though pre-booking isn't necessary we just preferred it that way.All in all it made for a great afternoon out and dogs go free and can access the cafes top and bottom.

Large car park at base, and a huge eagle sculpture and a selection of mountain orientated and gift shops. Outdoor café and the toilets are located near to the start of the gondola. Each enclosed carriage takes up to 6 people, with bikes and skis transported on the outside of the gondola. The operator will stop the gondola for less mobile people to get on.You are then whisked up to a view point and another café, where you can enjoy the views with refreshments. We walked up to another viewpoint cairn crossing a small stream with wild flowers and surprisingly saw a small frog in the stream.

A nice Gondola ride with great views, there is a cafe at the top where you can get something to eat and drink and you can also go for walks

Brilliant, loved the whole experience, and we even saw a dusting of snow, very cold and icy but well worth it. Cafe and WC at the top.. If unstable walking do not walk around the building outside if its icy.. we had terrible trouble ( and saw others too) but found out that once you get off cable car you can get to the cafe without going outside..and if you go out onto the viewing balcony it is OK.. there was a coach load of elderly and most were having trouble with the ice ... some grit would have be useful on the sloping area around the cafe.. not everyone who goes up there is steady on their feet.

Riding the Nevis Range Gondola in Scotland is a must, as it offers stunning panoramic views of the Scottish Highlands. The trip on the gondola takes about 15 minutes, and the views from the top station are breathtaking, with views of Ben Nevis, Loch Linnhe, and the surrounding mountains.Once you reach the top station, you can take a walk on the mountain trails or have some refreshments at the restaurant, with views of the mountains surrounding you. The Nevis Range Gondola is open year-round, and there are various activities available, such as skiing and snowboarding during winter, and mountain biking and hiking during the summer months. Therefore, I recommend visiting the Nevis Range Gondola as it is a fantastic way to experience the beauty of the Scottish Highlands.

£25 per person sees you ascend Aonoch Mor with no effort whatsoever and get (in the right weather conditions) beautiful views of Fort William and the edge of Loch Lochy.Note this is not Ben Nevis but that's not the claim, either.Having climbed a few of the UK's larger hills, the price is worth the effort saved when you're on holiday and wanting to be able to walk around later the same and/or next day!

It was a great experience up the cable car then a lovely trek up the top, what wonderful views! Unfortunately, on the way down on the cable car wasn't such a pleasant experience as the cable car broke down and we were left swaying back & forth in the wind!! It's a great place if you love extreme sports like mountain trekking on your bicycle not that we tried it!!
