Nice food and good service to begin with on my wife's birthday lunch 28th December. Then it got busy at about 1pm. Service went down hill fast. We were 45 minutes from finishing our mains to paying the bill. We gave up on desert. Every stage; asking for desert menu, asking for the bill, paying the bill, took another 10-15 minutes. Totally ignored. I sat with the bill for 15 minutes then eventually after flagging down a waiter he asked me 'paying by card?' and I said yes. He then just disappeared again so after another 10 minutes and our 2 sons getting very restless, I went to the counter to pay. Others had paid at their table by card. No top this time as the service was so bad. Spoiled the whole lunch and my wife's birthday. Get more staff!

The service was slow, but staff were polite. The Caesar salad did not contain croutons, parmesan cheese or Caesar dressing. Waitress disputed that these items were included until I pointed out the wording on the menu. The arctic salted caramel desert was frozen solid. Waitress stated that it says on menu that it was frozen however the menu stated it was ice cream in a light sponge. This was followed by a 20 minute delay in getting the coffee. This was my first visit there.Will NOT be dining there again

Having eaten at this restaurant about 20-30 times I have witnessed to customer service slip over the last 2 years. Such a shame as the food is usually great. Now I don't feel comfortable with the way I am treated by the staff.If you can look past the poor service, the food is great.
