Simply Chinese

Absolutely amazing Chinese food. I lived in China for several years before moving to the UK and this took me back to the good old days back in Beijing! Great value for money and authentic taste!!

Absolutely garbage. I've used this place on and off for a few years now and it is very much a mixed bag. Tonight it is my son's 12th birthday and he asked for a takeaway from here. I ordered a meal at 18:11 and was told an hour.I called at 19:33 to ask for an update as there was nothing (I understand Saturdays can be busy) and was told it was cooking now and would be 20 minutes. At 20:11 (2 hours) there was still nothing, so tried to call - no answer. I've called nearly 320 times (feel like a stalker) and still no answer. It is now 20:48 and no food, no answer. I will never use them again - if there was a problem with the delivery or kitchen, they have my number. Utterly disgraceful. I've just tried to order a curry from somewhere else but the wait is an hour, so too long for my kids. Cheers!!!Only getting 1 star as I can't give 0

Very good food, sweet & sour chicken, cash nut beef, salt and pepper chicken, etc., good service attitude. Do come again.

The food came out very quickly and was delicious! Staff was also lovely.

We love having the food from here, but the biggest letdown is the delivery time. It's very inconsistent. Sometimes they are really quick, other times it's nearly two hours. Staff are lovely, but it's just the standard 'they are on their way' when you ring. They really need to be more consistent.

Dreadful experience!When ordering I was told a 1 hour 30 mins wait for delivery. When it hadn't turned up. In the allotted time, I telephoned to chase the order up. The person I spoke to was rude, told me it was just being cooked and then put the phone down on me. It eventually arrived 2 hours 45 minutes after placing the order. I would like to say it was worth the wait, but it definitely wasn't. The food was just about warm enough to eat. I'd ordered an omelette with chips, the omelette was in the box on top of the chips making them soggy. My husband ordered ribs, they were pretty tasteless. The free prawn crackers and the dumpling starter was the nicest part of the meal. Very very disappointed!!!

Super tasty food, incredibly quick (if you collect) and cheap. Can't really ask for more

Pretty below average Chinese, better ones in the area definitely, for the price was okay, chicken pretty overcooked, salt and pepper flavour was lacking flavour. Soup was quite nice honestly. Rice was the best part though. Everything came well packaged and fast delivery Overall ,could have been done better.
