We sold our house using Hawes & Co. Paul and the rest of the team were excellent. They have very good knowledge of the local area and their valuation was spot on. Good communication throughout the process. Definitely recommended.

Highly disappointing service from H&Co.Selling a property which H&C initially undervalued (by over 20% compared to the average given by other estate agents!) which should have been the sign to go elsewhere...Resolved this, and had the property on the market with H&C for almost 6 weeks and they failed to secure a single viewing in that time. In fact, I managed to arrange one myself through a work colleague before they had arranged any (which they failed to ever do).After a severe lack of communication from the branch, I followed up only to find that the allocated sales rep had left the business ~2 weeks prior and H&C had not informed me, nor allocated the sale to another agent! Cancelled the arrangement with absolutely no fight from H&C to improve the service - just gave the impression of giving up at the first opportunity - perhaps out of embarrassment.Positives: Commission for sales is at the lower end, but from my experience with H&C, you get what you pay for...
