Great pub/ restaurant with great Steaksthe freshest meat ( the owner is a butcher) I recommend the Boston or New Yorker steak the garlic mushrooms are fabulous, especially the sauce a great selection of drinks bar staff brilliant you won't be disappointed highly recommended.

Nice little pub restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff and the food is so nice, good portion size. Never had a bad meal there.

Great food.. Girls serving are a credit to the Pub.I know the meal I posted doesn't look much but its all I wanted. Sent loads back. Tons of gravey if your into it. I'd give the meal 10/10.I WILL be back

Lovely traditional pub, lots of seating areas, beautiful view from the conservatory. We had a friendly welcome and enjoyed a home cooked Sunday lunch.

Portions were small for the price. Chicken was dry / overcooked. Steak n ale pie was just ok, salmon was also dry.

Warm and friendly welcome in arrival. Food was really nice, just what a pub meal should be. Makes such a difference that they serve home made chips that are well cooked because let’s face it who actually wants to go out for a meal and be served frozen chips. Portions were generous. Prices were very reasonable. Will definitely stop for a meal again next time we’re passing.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch at the rowen tree .considering we booked it last minute they were very accommodating staff were welcoming and very attentive. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot and a good portion size too. Desert was excellent good choice of both to chicken beef lamb or a mixture. Great atmosphere would definitely recommended.
