The temperature is quite hot, and the richness is notably moreso than in other cheap-chain hot chocolates, however the consistency is lacking massively, with the bottom of the drink being terribly grainy. However, a low price is appreciated. 4/10

I went into Greggs in South Street mainly because I wanted a Greggs, and I was in South Street. I was served" by a young girl call AbbIE who was disappointingly not rude as I have read in an earlier review

I’m not a fan of the Greggs food in general. Cheap and horrible tasting, in some cases tasteless. It’s mass produced with preservatives for long lasting on the shelf. Best you go to a proper baker if you get the chance. Nonetheless, I did have a giggle when I saw the location of this branch - does nobody notice the bleedin obvious or was it deliberate to stick a pie shop next to a hair cut shop with Sweeney Todd standing at the door. We swiftly moved on ….

Fantastic service and manager is so nice! My card was declined and I couldn’t get Wi-Fi to transfer money (mortifying!). Manager gave me my breakfast roll, coffee and cakes on the house as a goodwill gesture. Thanks again!

Was “served” by a young girl perhaps 19/20 named Abby at south street. This person was so unbelievably rude i will never be back. Not one bit of eye contact, no smile, no words spoken and rolled her eyes when i asked her for a sausage roll. so unbelievably rude and from what i’ve heard she’s known as being the nasty one in there. also heard her sighing at an old lady who was trying to pay with coins and demanding she used her card! old woman left very upset. worst part is no other colleague of her seemed bothered by this behaviour. she must just be allowed to stomp around the place and get her own way. needs to learn life doesn’t work that way.

Great place to go for filled baguettes and hot drinks or soup or sausage rolls or sweet treats. Very reasonably priced place to go to grab a quick lunch when out shopping with family and friends or when travelling.

Store is clean and well laid out. Staff were friendly and there was a good selection of products available. Street parking available on opposite side of road or there is plenty of car parks close by.
