DVSA Driving Test Centre

I went to the Test Centre open day. Have the public a great opportunity to get information about the test, and a chance to speak to the examiners amongst others. Very useful to anyone with a test coming up, and to instructors too. These don't come up very often, but I would recommend attending when they do.

The examiner Julie was very professional, and she encouraged me to relax even before stepping into the car. She was very helpful when my learner's sign flew off the bonet, She said I shouldn't panic and asked me to park when it was safe. At the end of the test, I passed my test. It was an exciting day of my life. Well done guys for the good work you do at the Herne Bay test centre.

Today I had my driving test and was very very nervous ! Luckily I had a great guy called Pete who was my examiner. He was very calm and clear with his instructions. He made me feel at ease with a good little chat here and there to keep me calm but also allowing me plenty of space to concentrate and be quiet if I wanted to. He was very professional and clearly knew what he was doing. I Passed !

I did my test yesterday, I was so nervous at first but Wayne was a very friendly and professional person and I gained more confidence with the way he spoke to me. He was very calm and clear with all instructions. I passed my test and it was my first attempt.A big shout out to Wayne and other staff there for the good work they do.

As a driving instructor I use this test centre regularly and have found all the examiners to be very friendly and professional with my pupils and us instructors. When someone is taking their driving test nerves can often be a major contributing factor to a unsuccessful result but the examiners at Herne Bay clearly understand this and are excellent at helping candidates feel comfortable and relaxed enabling them to demonstrate their true driving ability. Some of them also take extra time outside of their normal working hours to provide an insight as to what will happen on the day of a pupils test by inviting them to come to the test centre and meet the examiners. An excellent service for both pupils and instructors, well done and thank you all at Herne Bay Test Centre.

I had my driving test earlier today, and I had the manager of herne bay driving test centre, she was absolutely amazing she ensured that I kept calm, and she was chatty and lovely! I also had someone called Paul before this test and he was exactly the same! He was very lovely and talked through everything perfectly and ensured that I kept calm. I am so thankful that I had these to examiners! Thankyou!!!

Herne Bay Test Centre was brilliant for my driving test.My examiner, Pete came out promptly and wasted no time in getting his checks done before starting my test. Pete was professional in letting me know what the plan was for my test, he settled my nerves very quickly. All Pete's instructions were clear and concise. He didn't make me feel the slightest bit unnerved despite my initial anxieties that are common in test situ's.When back at the test centre, Pete spoke me through the results of my test alongside my driving instructor. Again, I understood clearly what he was saying. Thank you Pete!I couldn't fault my experience at all and would highly recommend Herne Bay for your test :)
