Sandhills Holiday Park

Use to holiday here back in the 60s and 70's it is much more up market now and most of the statics are beyond the range of the average working man. We were lucky enough to go here twice with friends who knew an owner of one. There is so much to do around here. The memories of those childhood holidays will always be special.

Excellent place to stay friendly staff great views of the sea

Well located to Mudeford Quays for crabbing fun with the kids and boat spotting, great playground on site for the little ones and pool. Avon beach is on the other side just 5 mins away.

Just back from a lovely weeks holiday at Sandhills. We were in a pet friendly apartment on the ground floor. It was very very nice. The furnishings were really nice. I was pleasantly surprised. The location is hard to beat. Parking space so no need to try and find one at Mudeford Quay ! The staff were exceptionally nice. I would definitely recommend.

Always a real pleasure to stay here. The staff are fabulous and always on hand to help with anything. The best location, right on the beach. Views across to the Isle of Wight. A great outdoor heated pool on site. A short stroll along the prom there is a great restaurant called the Noisy Lobster. This is the perfect base for a little holiday. You don't even need your car once here as there is so much to do in close proximity of the park. I love the luxury apartments in the main building, but have also stayed in private lodges which are amazing. One day I hope to own one myself as I love it here so much !

Location and accommodation is excellent, the 2 ladies on reception are very welcoming. We were sent an email with the food menu, when we arrived the only item available was pizza. Pool shut promptly at 5pm, bar was only open from 5pm on certain days and was I actually turned away for a drink at 8.30pm because the bar man was shutting up. Wouldn't recommend it as its certainly not designed for families. No onsite shop.

Lovely and special place to visit , been coming here since I was a child 20 plus years ago so the park has always held a special place in my heart and I had the pleasure to bring my own children here on multiple visits now . The park is in an amazing location right on the sea front . Unfortunately the only downside currently is the lack of children’s entertainment, no on site shop , only serving pizzas in the way of food and the pool shuts quite early . I understand the parks target market has shifted to privately owned caravans , so the accommodation is limited now to their own apartments which are beautiful . We’ve stayed in the roundall apartment several times and this is amazing because it opens straight out onto the pool pretty much so was very good for getting the kids in and out . I really feel that this is a great place to visit but more so for couples or families with older children . We felt very limited with our two (3 and 7 ) as there is only the outdoor pool and then the park at the back . However it is great for crabbing on mudeford quay (walking distance) and visiting Avon beach

Stayed over for the weekend with friends and kiddies.. lovely big rooms , view gorgeous and reception lady excellent. Definitely go back again.

Haven't stayed here - yet - but was very taken with the overall ambience and character of the place, and was particularly taken with the receptionist, Naomi, who was so very lovely and very very helpful, and very patient too dealing with my raft of questions.We're hoping to stay sometime next year, as and when that happens I'll write a proper, in depth review!!

Just back from a 5 day stay here. Great location by the beach with its own heated outdoor pool. We stayed in a static which was to a high standard, very clean and had everything you needed, bar bath towels.Would also like to mention the lifeguard, Anand. What a star. Great knowledge of the area, great personality, firm when required and helped introduced children so they could play together. Always went the extra mile and the park are lucky to have him.
