Marek tutors my son who is currently in Year 10. Since he started with Marek, he has moved up a Maths set and gained a huge amount of confidence. Maths is even now his (second) favourite subject! My son really appreciates the real life examples that puts the Maths in context and his friendly and laidback manner. Thank you Marek!

Marek taught my son from year 9 and my daughter from year 7. My son really didn’t engage with maths at all at school until he met Marek, My son went on to excel at maths A level and to study medicine. Marek tutored me for my GCSE Maths qualification back in 2016-17 and was absolutely brilliant! He tailored his tutoring sessions in a really personalised way that enabled me to totally grasp mathematical concepts, despite never being able to quite wrap my head around them in class. Marek taught me up to a standard that enabled me to achieve the maximum marks available on the Foundation paper, although with hindsight (and a bit more confidence!), I am now certain that the standard of tutoring he provided would've definitely put me in good steed to do well in the Higher paper too - something that he told me at the time! Marek tutored my three very different children through primary and secondary school. They remember him with great fondness, as do I. Marek is calm and patient and tailors his teaching to the individual child. He keeps kids interested and excited. When the Maths teaching at school was good he gave extension tasks, when the teaching wasn't so great he filled in the gaps.
