The person who served the food was nice and careful with it. Nice juicy fish and sausages. However, chips could've been better in terms of consistency. Overall a great chippy!

Best chippy in the area in my opinion. Fish and chips have got so expensive that it has become a rare treat for us but the cod special here is great value for money. A good size piece of very tasty cod (has got bigger since we last visited a few months ago I'm sure) lovely chips and curry/peas/etc for £6.50, can't argue with that and will allow us to have a chippy more often!

Review on behalf of my husband. He stays at the Mosborough Hall fairly regularly and every night raves about Mario and the team and the excellent food they serve. And the prices really can't be beaten. If you can get the quality and portion size for the price anywhere else, good luck. See you in the week guys. Sean

We purchased fish and chips from the shop many times before and we have never had a problem but today the chips were stuck to the paper so I couldn't eat them. The woman behind the counter did not know what she was doing she stabbed 5 hole in my fishcake so I could not get it of the paper and onto a plate there were so much vinegar that is could have used just the vinegar to wash my chips down. It was not enjoyable at all in the end they ended up in the bin.Thanks

Arrived late on a Sunday, it didn't bother the staff despite us being spot on closing time.Food was great value and was delicious, they do battered mars bars too!Staff friendly throughout

Fish and chips usually great from here..However, today the chips totally inedible and overcooked. Fish was up to usual quality standard but the chips seemed to be warmed up from the day before. Bought after 2pm so they should be fresh chips!

I'd say this is the best chippy I've ever been too. Nice friendly staff, perfect amount of food..and the battered fish actually has a decent amount of fish in the batter!
