Without a doubt the best Chinese takeaway in the whole area. Crispy chicken in chilli peking sauce, Phenomenal! Chicken cooked to perfection crispy and soft and the sauce was lovely.Chicken gyoza the best I’ve had. Could tell they were made from scratch and not just packet bought. Perfect.The sauce was nice sweet n sour with nice vinegar to it.Fried rice perfect! Not stodgey.Not my first meal from there and certainly not the last. My go to for a Chinese and worth the drive through.

Honestly the best Chinese/Japanese takeaway I have discovered in a long time. Really good quality food and the chicken teriyaki was excellent. I only wish I didn't live 200 miles away otherwise I'd be here weekly.

The speed at which orders are processed is excellent. The owner is always ready with a friendly greeting. Compared to other Takeaways in the area the prices are cheap, but the quality of the food is much higher.A Taste of China is always our first choice for take out.

The 'chicken' or whatever it was, was like tinned meat and had the taste/texture like it had been refried, probably made days ago.. Like chewing pieces of dry rubber. Not much flavour at all either. Also sent me straight to the toilet with stomach cramps not long after eating it. Very poor.

Lovely meal, we had the sweet and sour chicken balls, crispy beef with fried rice, salt and pepper chips and prawn crackers all made really well. Friendly staff and the food was made quickly. Be aware they could not take card payments so I had to go across the road to get money from the cash machine in the co-op.

I order King Prawn balls, the description on the menu is KING they were shrimps not prawns, and were the smallest prawns I've ever seen, they were wrapped in the doughiest batter, which was raw on the inside. Won't be ordering again.

Best Chinese takeout in a long time! No more travelling to Barnard Castle this is far more superior. Staff so polite and friendly, good taste, good price, very quick!
