Lovely

I followed this location on the sat nav by clicking directions, but could not find the entrance / parking. On a bit of a time constraint, I ended up giving up. Will try again in future and then edit this post...

Ideal nature walk for dogs and lovers of nature

I've been visiting these woods since I was 12yrs old & now 58. Place has really gone down hill since PCC took over. Many of the paths have fallen trees laying across them. No effort been made to clear them though I myself have managed to clear a few using either hand saw or chainsaw. Main entrance from Tamerton Foliot path is always badly overgrown with Nettles & Brambles. Once a year workmen go in there and clear it. Many of the paths have disappeared due to overgrown foliage. Contractors have cut down many deased trees but they've been left where they landed. Several of the fields within the woods boundary line now completely covered in Brambles. Ok for Wildlife but personally this should be kept in check. Occasional signs of Fly tipping & vandalism too.

A great wood walk but limited parking. I found you have to park in a residential area to get into this park which with covid I was quite happy with as there wasn't a lot of people there. It does mean though if the spots are taken than you may have to go elsewhere. The walk is beautiful though and has some really good scenery.

Great. Very fun and is good for adventuring.
