We were given a voucher by our daughter as a birthday present. We were welcomed warmly, shown around the various products available & read about the history of distilling in Wales before the tour started. The tour was quite interesting (but obviously it's hard to get enthusiastic about a pile of machinery!), but the young lady did her best to keep us amused & the tour was not too long or boring. The visit ended with a tasting session which was great fun. Don't understand the negative comment in here, you can't be bothered to book, you don't get the tour. Not rocket science!! J.H.

Awful. Went today with my father after 3 days in the area hiking the Brecon Beacons etc. Entered having not booked a tour, asked if we could, however they were fully booked (fair enough). So, we were simply brushed aside and told to enter the gift shop to 'look at our products'. We were not greeted by the saleswoman/assistant (blonde middle aged lady) and she was dismissive, rude and couldn't even hold eye contact with my father or I. Constantly looked away at others entering the shop, when we asked for some tasters she looked like she was going to say no. Perhaps it was the clothing we were in after having spent a day Gorging, that she felt we were not worth her time, despite the fact we were the most likely to buy. We liked the tasters, but my father and I thought she was too rude, so we left empty handed and all in all (no pun intended) with a bad taste in our mouths. Would not recommend, sales assistant needs a good talking to.

David gave us an excellent tour through the distillery and answered all our questions professionally. Great tasting session afterwards. And as expected - Penderyn whiskies are very good indeed. My favourites are the Madeira and the Sherrywood.Not to be missed!

A really interesting tour that is definitely recommended. Everything was explained clearly in an engaging manner. A good afternoon out!

Would not bother I worked in the herwin depo and if you work 5 days they only pay for 4 and if you work 4 days they only pay for 2 plus the I have seen things that would up set HMRC with alcohol lower than what is says on the label stay away from the company and it’s products

Very informative tour lasting about an hour. Two samples of whisky to taste.

Had a great few hours out with my dad, very informative tour and topped off with afew tasters, very nice... highly recommend
