Awful. The owner was extremely rude and obnoxious. Was verbally abusive towards my sister in law and extremely unwelcoming to the rest of us. We left immediately without making any purchases as he was so aggressively unpleasant and condescending.

Awfully rude man-child running this place. Simply asked if there was a changing room or a mirror at least, and got a condescending ramble in response that seemed to go on for 20 minutes. A simple “no we don’t, sorry” would have sufficed. Seems to still be stuck in his edgy teen phase at his big old age. Embarrassing.

Stay Away.-The man at the counter seemed nice at first glance and the shop was nicely stocked with a good selection of music, owner even made sure that we knew the place closed soon, however we bought three vinyls and a t-shirt for him to which he took them and put them in a bag for us and then we left, thought I caught him giving me an odd look when I put the t-shirt into the bag with the records.On the train him now to find that one of the records is not in the bag and neither is the receipt!Going by all the other reviews here, seems to be a terrible shop with the facade of a mature music shop

Great to see a proper music shop in a major city centre! Got two CDs for very reasonable prices and loved looking through the rest of the collection. Had a nice chat with the owner too. We need more places like this!

Has categories of music organised but didn't have a clue on what prog rock was despite selling a King Crimson vinyl. Said that I'd have to go else where if I wanted anything like that.

Old school record shop, great service.My music mad daughter and boyfriend loved the range of t shirts, music ,etc.So much so I brought a t shirt myself.

Went in today after seeing the massive selection of all things vinyl, t shirts, CDs, tapes. All officially licensed, no cheap tat like a lot of other shops around. We were in there for 45 minutes and the man with the beard was nothing but helpful, talkative, and quick to help us around. Bought a boards of canada record, and one of their own t shirts (lovely logo on them) and on the way out spotted an aphex twin promotional poster, I mentioned it offhand and as I went to change into my new t shirt he was rolling it up and passed it on for free, lovely lad, lovely records, lovely shop. :-)

Rude owner told me that I looked like someone who “statistically” wouldn’t put away the T-shirts properly from where I picked them up from, just before I was ready to drop £80 on them. Save your money and get them from Amazon.

Great selection of vinyl and CDs, and all really good prices compared to other record shops. Bought a few records and happy with the advice from the store owner. He was knowledgeable and helpful.Great range of band T-shirts too, with some great designs. Definitely something for everyone!
