Sam has helped with everything from anxiety, grief, and menopausal symptoms, to physical discomfort, aches, and pain, over the years. I always feel better within myself after a session. He's also a really gentle and supportive chap. I wouldn't want to be without his care. He's clearly got an in depth enthusiasm and knowledge for his profession. One of the best!

Sam is an excellent practitioner. I have seen many different acupuncturists over time, and Sam is by far the best one I have seen.He reviews my situation at the start of each session and will adapt his treatment accordingly. His knowledge is outstanding. His concern and understanding for me as a client make me feel cared for. In addition to helping with specific symptoms, I always feel very relaxed and calm after the treatments. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone.

I first came to see Sam May in January with a muscle problem in my hip area which had been ongoing for a few years and then I had a fall on it too. I was in a lot of pain and over time with acupuncture and physiotherapy it is starting to sort it out. Sam has approached this difficult problem with care and great patience and thought.I am 68 and in reasonable health but was very low in spirit which was affecting my well being. I hadn't expected or intended to address this with the acupuncture but Sam's sensitive and intuitive approach to the whole person, mind, body, spirit, quite quickly revealed things that needed some attention.Very quickly with acupuncture for constitution and spirit at the multi- bed clinic, and some longer discussions and helpful insights about my spiritual path/life I began to feel alive again and see my way forward. Sam guided me in a gentle, perceptive and caring way without being intrusive. His openess and honesty were so helpful in getting to the heart of the matter.In addition I have been overweight/obese for a number of years and finding slimming diets simply did not shift the weight I asked Sam to try acupuncture for weight loss. In conjunction with joining Slimming World and sessions of acupuncture in 5 weeks I have lost one stone and one pound. I am convinced the acupuncture has helped because before I was so stuck even with diets.I cannot speak highly enough of Sam as a therapist and as a person as he has helped me in so many ways. I totally recommend him as a therapist and would encourage anyone not to hesitate to go to his clinic and see for themselves.

I have been seeing Sam for over two years now, he is an incredibly insightful and adept practitioner, whom I trust implicitly.I have just had my seasonal adjustment treatment and have been full of energy ever since. I would recommend Sam for both physical and emotional ailments. I first saw Sam, 6 months after and during an intense grieving period, he supported me through this time, and I instantly started to feel better/lighter even though it was December. I cruised through that winter, usually I suffer from quite serious blues, but with the regular treatments, I escaped this, even though I was also dealing with the grief.Sam continues to support me for this, and also works on my ongoing neck problems within the same session, so you really do get good value, esp with the low cost clinics. He imbues a kindness, calmness and serenity that I have rarely encountered.

Amazingly, Sam has managed to radically change my life with his tiny, painless needles!6 years ago I was involved in a car accident which left me with a rotator cuff tear and significant pain in my shoulder joint and radiating down my arm involving my fingers. I was told it would never get any better.Sam used the same acupuncture points over 4 weeks. After the first time, I woke the next morning with no pain, although it did come back during the day. After the second time, the pain was gone for almost a week, and after the third appointment it never returned. He then concentrated on my numb thumb and a month after my treatments ended I still have no pain at all in any of these areas, as well as full sensation in my thumb.I recommend Sam wholeheartedly for his kind, calm manner, his ability to listen and the way in which he approaches each individual with the same amount of attention and care. I will be returning to Sam for help with PMT and potentially anxiety issues and I know that I'll be in very capable hands.Thank you Sam.

After continuous health problems for which the doctor eventually prescribed daily antibiotics for the foreseeable future, I started acupuncture with Sam. I have never looked back, no more antibiotics, far less frequency of illnesses and regularly topping up Sam’s acupuncture has kept me balanced, strong and with a skip in my step!
