Absolutely splendid, great portion for the price and delicious. The meat was tend and the chips were crunchy and fluffy. The salad and coleslaw was alright too.

Stopped on our journey for lunch as the Inn looked so welcoming.Service was great and staff very friendly and let us eat in with our dogs.Lunch was excellent with good size portions.Will stop again when next in the area

Great, relaxing pub with brilliant atmosphere and really good food. There is excellent parking in the back, a huge beer garden which is fabulous in the good weather and a smaller patio seating area if you want to be closer to the bar. They hold pool comps, quiz nights and are always welcoming to locals and visitors. We’ve always stopped off when driving through area and have never been disappointed.

Beautiful pub, both drinking area and dining room, loads of parking. Landlord is very nice and the food is incredible, katsu curry is my go to every time. Definitely recommend for locals or anyone passing through

Lovely food and staff. Our dog was allowed in with us, and she was treated like a princess. Really enjoyed it and we will return.

We travelled over an hour to meet up with a dear friend. We ordered two fish and chips and a gammon meal. Had Prosecco and some other drinks.Also ended up meeting the locals and having a good chat.The three of us were greeted by the proprietor with warmth and nothing was a chore. Lovely venue. Will visit again.
