I popped in here with my young daughter a few weeks ago. Coffee and soup were great, as was my bacon and brie sandwich. They also happily catered for my daughter with a half sandwich that wasn't on the menu. Whilst the service wasn't overly welcoming it was quick and polite. The place was busy - locals must know it's a good place for a spot of lunch with plenty of parking. ☺️

We have eaten here regularly for many years & love the excellent choice of well cooked food, which belies the first impression you get from the rather dull decor. Prices are reasonable and the friendly service compares well with other local cafes. Give it a try.

Small cafe near a small group of specialist shops. Good coffee and cakes. Cooked lunches and sandwiches. Sells some locally made ice-cream. Need to order at the counter but will bring your order to the table.
