I have only praise for Mallards @ Southend. I spoke to Laura on the phone, she was an absolute delight. We then went to the shop and met Ellie, Dave, Jan and the manageress (didn’t get her name) but they were all so lovely. Plenty of patience. I wouldn’t hesitate in going back there even though I live an hour away. If you want a shop with lots to choose from but also with a personal touch, go there

I dropped a ring with huge sentimental value in for a repair and resize in January. After the worst year of my life I was finally able to collect in December, never once did I feel pressured to collect and pay or worried that it would be disposed of or sold. Very understanding and the workmanship is outstanding, the ring looks better than new and I can't wait to see my fiancé's face when I present it to her on Xmas day. These people saved my Christmas and salvaged my year with their unlimited patience and goodwill. Could not recommend highly enough!

I visited your Southend on Sea, High Street, Branch on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd April and I just wanted to say how very helpful the staff were.  I was looking for a gift for my son’s 21st Birthday and was being overly fussy.  However, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and they were determined to assist. I felt valued and like nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly and a great personal service. Thank you, Dave, (the manager, I believe) and the female staff member with short dark hair, whose daughter had just taken her art GCSE (sorry didn't ask her name), were fantastic. We will definitely return and 100% recommend.

We had been to a few shops before heading into Mallards but found the personal service offered by Emily second to none. She helped us pick the perfect engagement rings and even arranged to have them resized at a very reasonable cost.

Purchased a lovely 9ct gold necklace for my wife today it was a used item but in new condition.my wife fell in love with it as it really suited her as well. Asked what the best price they could offer and offered it to myself with near enough 15% off very pleased customer service was very good indeed and a pleasant experience highly recommended..

Went in to sell some jewellery I inherited but do not wear - Dave was super helpful, friendly, informative. A real gentleman! Highly recommended.

Very dissapointed, travelled 300 miles to take grandkids Christmas shopping, went into Mallards in Southend High Street, saw a lovely pendant in the shop window. It was the pendant and chain on show in the window. I decided that it would be perfect for my disabled granddaughter, so I went in and asked to buy it. £29.50 was a good price. I was then told that the pendant did not come with a chain and I would have to purchase one for £10.50. What a con I thought, I shopped all day 8n other more reputable jewellers and bought other necklaces all came with the chain that it was displayed with. I feel that this company took the chance to rip off its customers. I won't shop here again and I would suggest other be aware of the scam.

Fantastic service when purchasing a Rolex. Dave was absolutely Brilliant from the Southend Branch. Would highly highly recommend.
