Hotel Chocolat

Went in to use the cafe, contained three people but a couple where using three/ four tables for bags, cycle helmets. We mentioned to staff that we would have like to try it if only there was space hoping they would encourage the couple to not take half the seating area, no luck. If this is common I see the cafe closing due to lack of custom.

Exquisite chocolate selection. The staff are first rate and have extensive knowledge of the product, lucky them!

Typical Hotel Chocolate shop but the staff in there are fantastic. You end up buying more on the advice/help/recommendations

Went on my usual Saturday, they had one woman (Sharon) trying to run a busy cafe by herself, she did entertain and hold it together, but my god it was ridiculous. She was apologising for everything that was broken, taking orders, making drinks,serving and washing up . The whip machine has been broken for weeks, the ice cream machine is now repaired but doesnt taste the same. The toilet door lock is held on with tape. The man serving in the shop part is unbelievably rude. It's had a change of management, loss of staff and now it's loosing my custom

Went to the cafe with 2 of my friends as a last minute thing to get out of the rain and was greeted by a lovely lady who was very pleased to take our orders and gave both my friends free chocolate cream with their drinks. Honestly a 10/10 experience and if I could give over 5 stars i would the service was just amazing ❤️❤️

Popped in to Hotel Chocolat whilst on holiday as been considering the purchase of a Velvetiser to upgrade our Hot Chocolate (and Chai Latte) game. In the store we met Zoe who assisted us with the selection of the product and even provided a demonstration of the product to us so we could see how it was done and to try the product ourselves. We were so impressed both with Zoe and the Product that we purchased the Velvetiser there and then and have been enjoying Hot Chocolates daily since! Zoe was very knowledgeable about the product and answered all my questions well with a friendly professional manner.Whilst we were checking out, Zoe and her colleague Jamie provided us with some recommendations of where to eat in Carlisle and we were pleased to say we went with Jamie's recommendation of 'The Last Zebra' which was amazing! Thank you both to Zoe and Jamie for the excellent service.

Why is this the first time I have been here?? The hot chocolate here is Amazing! I went for a 70% dark chilli chocolate one with a chocolate cream float on the side. It was so tasty. Am going to try a darker one next time. But this is literally one of the best hot chocolates I have ever had. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and friendly too.

There are most beautiful chocolates I buy my chocolate all the time there to eat them and I like to drink chocolate velvetiserI enjoyed the chocolate I got a Christmas Easter and I like to go to the shop to drink the chocolate in the shop customers are very happy with the staff very helpful I have no photos yet but I will get some shortly I go to the Carlisle shop in English Street thank you again

I called in here today for the first time and was greeted by a nice girl but she was absolutely clueless when asking her about gluten free chocolates , I then proceeded to buy some different chocolate and when I went to pay suzie who served me (different girl) was absolutely shocking!! Like it was to much trouble to give me a bag and then mutter under her breath something! I really think you need a lesson in customer service!
