11 Plus Pod

My son says ‘Loved it! Exciting, fun and you actually learn. If I didn’t have 11+ Pod I probably wouldn’t have passed’. Simone was an amazing tutor, as my son has testified, she makes learning fun. She gives great feedback at the end of each session and the mock tests are also excellent. I would highly recommend 11+ Pod and only wish there was a GCSE Pod!

Great way of teaching especially the videos after the mock exam which helps parents and children at the same time.

We were recommended 11+ pod by a friend of ours who had used them. From the very start Alex was made to feel welcome & at ease, we discussed different tutoring options with Simone & went for tutoring in a pair. Alex loved that he was working with a like minded child (his study buddy) & looked forward to the sessions each week. Lee, Alex’s tutor was lovely & made the sessions fun & engaging. If he was finding any of the concepts difficult he had the option of attending one of the many courses that ran during the school holidays. We would let Alex pick what subjects he wanted to cover & then book them online, we also found the mock exams that they ran throughout the year a good way for us to gage what he needed to work on & they were an opportunity for him to see what a real exam would be like. We signed up to five of these & found each & every one beneficial. The revision package that they sent to us for the children during the summer holidays to download was amazing, we went through most of the papers & that helped Alex to keep up the momentum on all the good work that he had been doing beforehand with Lee. Simone has been outstanding in providing 1:1 tuition lessons for my daughter leading up to her 11+ exam.Lessons are extremely thorough, based around the papers and she has always taken my daughters ability into account . The lessons are tailored to enhance and grow knowledge and ability to take the exams and pass.My daughter has passed with flying colours and achieved an outstanding score!I don’t think we would have achieved such a score without our weekly lessons with Simone.I cannot recommend her and her team enough.

My daughter started 11+ tutoring with the 11 Plus Pod slightly later than most. Our tutor Keeley, worked really hard to bring her up to speed on the missed work and she was paired with another child of matched ability. The tutoring sessions covered all of the necessary work, with ample time to recap on those areas that needed a bit of extra attention. My daughter's confidence grew so much throughout the 9 months. She generally found her maths and English lessons at school were easier as a result. The homework from the sessions was really manageable and feedback at the next lesson was great. It felt like Keeley was really able to build a rapport with my daughter, understand her abilities and tailor the lessons to suit.My daughter did 2 mock exams which were followed up with sessions, planned to target her weaker areas. She felt really confident and prepared going into the actual Exam and came out with a fantastic result. We cannot fault our experience and will be enrolling my son when it's his turn!!
