Avon Dairy Ltd

A lovely patient lady helped me this morning.I was totally misreading my milk bill,and now feel a bit daft! But she spent time sorting it all out for me-which was wonderful,seeing that I was in the wrong! Thank you!

I have been using Avon dairy for a month and I am completely satisfied with the service. The milk so far is always there on the doorstop. They always answer the telephone if I need to change my order. Good to have this service again.

We had milk from Pensworth before they were taken over by Avon and B&B Dairies before Pensworth took them over.We have never had a missed delivery.We have our cow's milk in glass bottles and have bread and goat's milk as well.We have had a delivery for several years as I am housebound. The delivery arrives around 5am - 6am. My daughter is a light sleeper and sleeps at the front but the delivery rarely wakes her. If requested, when warm weather, the delivery is left in the cool porch. Can't fault them.

Excellent service, milkman is quiet as he arrives around 1am to our house, every time I have left a note, it is always acted upon, milk is absolutely beautiful as if thier fresh orange juice.

I have been using for about 3 months.Unfortunately I have now cancelled I have now requested twice a bill to be left fortnightly ,through the letterbox as the only bill received was left on the doorstep in the pouring rain and unreadable. All my requests have been ignored despite ringing the office each time to ask for this. Too much trouble.Another family member also cancelled her order as milk not delivered on one occasion Shame as they are losing business!

Fantastic service. I have twice weekly deliveries and have never been let down. It's lovely to have milk delivered, and I am now having it in bottles. Phone always answered immediately - no 'you are 10th in the queue!!' Well done Avon Dairy, and thank you to whoever does those antisocial hours delivering our milk.

Overall quite pleased / I’m a new customer who wants to support local businesses.However there has been 2 occasions when I have needed to cancel a delivery on the odd day because we were due to be away overnight. On the first I left a note in a bottle but that didn’t work and the milk was left anyway. On the second, I called the dairy to ask that no milk be left on a particular day and again despite that contact , the milk was left. I am now at a loss to know which is the best method of contact / and what would happen if we were away for longer.There are two reasons for a cancellation1. You don’t want passers-by to know you are not there. 2. You don’t want milk getting warm on a doorstep because it goes off. I’m going to contact them tomorrow but why is there no email address?

Dreadful service. The delivery is patchy, the delivery person cannot seem to understand that the cool box lid needs to be put on for it to work, and he/she finds it impossible to close the gate for some reason.We’ve had milk deliveries at our previous address for well over 35 years but this service is dreadful. We will have to cancel after repeated failures

So appreciative of this wonderful service. Fresh milk in glass bottles delivered to our doorstep regularly. Delivered during the night ready for the morning so quietly. Thankyou to the milkman & Avon Dairy for a truly brilliant service.
