Excellent care and service when I would otherwise have had to wait 2 months to be given an appointment with my NHS dentistMy second appointment involved repairing two sections of one of my back teeth and another tooth and Manuela did excellent work. It took two hours and I've never felt so relaxed in a dentists chair. Very comfortable and the end result looked like I had two healthy teeth. The NHS does good work but they don't have the time to provide this level of service.I now feel safe chewing on these teeth, not thinking that the filling is going to crack as it all feels and looks like one tooth.Can't recommend Stafford Dental and Manuela and her assistant, whose name I'm sorry I've forgotten, highly enough

Since joining this practice I feel I have been given an education on how to look after my dental health I didn't get elsewhere. Staff friendly and helpful. Always able to get a suitable appointment. Undergone several procedures and always do their best to make experience relaxing and pain free, Regular hygienist visits invaluable in helping to maintain dental health.Update 2023Original dentists retired.... Replacement left soon after as well....third dentist very good but practice changed... Don't get me wrong, staff are very polite but practice lost that personal feeling, where on first name terms and could have done banter with the dentist. Now more formal and in and out like a NHS practice.

Dr Manuela Ciaschetti is fantastic, very professional and very scrupulous. Her work is impeccable and she creates a friendly and comforting atmosphere in her studio. I visited her for different treatments and I was always happy with the result. She is unbeatable in cosmetics treatments. Truly recommended.

As someone who does not relish a visit to the dentist due to many visits as a child I can only say it is a pleasure to go to Stafford Street Dental practise. The reception team are welcoming, very pleasant and personable. Manuela my dentist and Rachael her dental assistant are very professional and very caring. They ensure the environment is relaxed, they take time to talk through what they are going to do and the treatment is of the highest quality. I have had a regular check up, scale and polish, composite bonding treatment, teeth whitening and a mouth guard made for teeth grinding. I had to have an impression taken for the mouth guard which I was very nervous about but Rachael reassured me throughout and gave me deep breathing exercises to do which was a great help. For each treatment time and care was taken and they delivered to the highest quality. Having Stafford Street personally recommended to me and making that first appointment was best first step when I returned to live in Edinburgh.

1) My visit was to remove a fractured molar tooth. On the first visit a month ago, I had a rare reaction to the adrenaline in the anaesthetic so asked to return at a later stage. This review therefore covers both experiences. The team could not have been more calm, supportive and professional during what had been an unnerving experience. As with the first visit, there was a discussion prior to the second treatment, and it was agreed not to include adrenaline in the anaesthetic. Everything went perfectly and the tooth was safely extracted within a couple of minutes.2) This was visit 2/5 for an on-going procedure. As ever, the practice was spotless and the staff highly professional. There was a slight medical concern during the visit and it was addressed with speed, practicality and kindness. The treatment was completed successfully, and a comprehensive aftercare package given to me before I left, along with verbal advice and encouragement to call if I had any problems.Particular thanks to Ashley, Lisa, Martyn and Holly. Numbers on a survey are one indicator, but it's how the patient looks back on the experience too. I continue to have full confidence in every aspect of my interaction with this practice.

I would highly recommend Stafford Street Dental Care. I recently had composite bonding treatment and I am delighted with the results. Manuela made me feel very comfortable and relaxed throughout my appointment and spent lots of time in order to achieve the best result. I couldn't believe the improvement in the appearance of my teeth! Manuela is obviously very passionate about cosmetic dental treatment and a real perfectionist. I've been extremely pleased with the care I've received from all the Stafford Street Dental Care team.

I visited Stafford Street after a long time not having been to a dentist. I was very impressed. Unfortunately several years of neglect meant that I needed several treatments. All carried out by the expert skills of Manuela and her assistant nurse who did a wonderful job of keeping me calm each time. Here was a quiet, easy going professionalism with no small streak of perfectionism in the mix too. Highly recommended!

I attended Stafford Street Dental to have my front teeth fixed with composite filling. I am so so happy that Manuela is now working there as she is amazing. Aside from being such a lovely person she really knows her stuff when it comes to composite, she says she sees it as more of a hobby than a job, she has a real passion! Straight away Manuela knew what was wrong with my teeth and what was needed to be done. She listen to what i wanted and made sure every step of the way i was happy.

Good clinic, very nice staff. Manuela did a wonderful job on my front teeth, was very careful and tried to avoid any unnecessary work. I’m very satisfied with results. Thank you!

Everything changed in last year to worst. Practice used to be most friendly, very welcoming place to come in! Now it looks like commercilised factory. Can't feel myself as a top standard dental practice's patient anymore, unfortunately. I am not feeling welcomed any longer. Holly from reception is only one very friendly and passionate who is very attentive and caring person! Dentist is rude and not listening to my needs. My advise to everyone else to avoide by any cost that Dental Practice!
