Hopwood Park

Nice smaller park to let the kids have a run about. Equipment for the very young and older kids including mini skate park, tennis courts, multi use games area and large fields. Excellent kiosk with incredibly reasonable ice cream and hot food plus picnic tables! If that's not enough there are also events put on by the local friends group...

This park is primarily used for dog walkers who are on the whole quite responsible although there is still quite a lot of dog excrement around the park the children's play area could do with some investment as it looks run down would benefit with some exercise equipment and some security lighting that's it I'm all done

Lovely park, fine for a mooch, dog walk or for families. Particularly taken by the skateboard/scooter/BMX track for the more adventurous kids.

Excellent, friendly a lovely place to sit and enjoy the tranquillity of the park whilst the children play happily. You can see all over the park from the refreshment area, so the children are always in view. Ice creams, drinks, hot dogs and crisps available, ideal after school treats that can be consumed at one of the lovely parosel shaded tables. Plenty of outdoor activities for the children, swings, slides, roundabout, zip wire, tennis courts ect. There are outdoor games and books to read, for those wishing to unwind. The refreshment area sits along side a safer separate off road parking area. For a more quieter retreat, there is another small cafe near the bowling green away from the playing area. Here you can relax watch a game, read or just enjoy a refreshing drink or one of the meals on offer from the menu. A lovely small, friendly well run family park loved by all who use it. Thank you.

Nice little park kids loved the zip wire, play area for little ones

There is a fantastic little cafe here, a great kids playground and a little cabin that has the most amazing ice cream. We'll worth a stroll around with your dog.
