Rude staff, couldn’t help me after I told them my car had a faulty wheel bearing, told me to call the AA and then proceed to drive around to Bristol Horfield to get a replacement car, which was under my own time and expense. Even the AA patrol said Europcar are useless, they deal with all the time and same bad reputation all the time … Useless, the worst rental company ever …

I always use Europcar when in Bristol and I find it is a relatively easy process. There are however a couple of things that would have made my latest rental less painful.1. After the member of staff had checked that it was the correct e-mail and contact number on the system he printed off the rental forms. I then had to manually enter ;my email, name, and contact number on the form. Why?2. The car was booked for 10am. We arrived at 10:10. Then , after completing check-in, spent 30 minutes waiting for the car to be prepared. Surely the car should have been ready at 10am. The office was not busy. During the check-in I was offered an automatic, which I didn't want, but at extra cost. Obviously there was one ready but surely this should have been communicated to me and the alleged upgrade given free.

Always an easy rental, nice staff and the vans are always in good condition. Have always had issues getting in at the 0800 opening time, i'm either left standing in the rain waiting to get let in for 10 minutes with other customers or the computer systems aren't turned on and its a slow start to the day

A one day van hire: highly recommend these folks who are courteous, efficient, friendly and really helpful. Van v clean, no problems. All good. I'll use them again, no hesitation.

We were desperate to get to Stansted airport and the staff helped us immensely by speeding up the procedures and getting the car ready. They put a smile on our faces and encouraged us to stay positive. Happy to report we made it smoothly and highly recommend their service.

Excellent service, helpful attentive staff, car very clean and extremely economical. Out of hours drop off saves battling through rush our to return the car, very convenient.
