I would not recommend this company at all. We booked a short break with them online. We paid in full to then be told is was only provisional and not confirmed. The price increased before it got confirmed. All to do with the airlines. It is a month before I travel and i still do not have an airline reference so I can check in. Trying to get them on the online chat facility is impossible... Gave up after 2 hours of waiting for a response. Phoning them is not much quicker either. Give them a wide berth!!!! Sorry I hate giving negative reviews but you don't deserve the custom.

They didn't inform me of problems at the holiday destination (including the BEACH under renovation+late checkin time) before my holiday which I paid a lot of money for. After the booking, you get a bunch of automated emails and that's about it.

Returned from a holiday with a complaint, went thru the correct channels, but OTB decided to 'close' the case before any compensation was complete. Cannot get any communication with them at all now......absolutely disgusting service.

My experience with Onthebeach Holidays' customer service was deeply disappointing. They were unprofessional, unhelpful, and showed no concern for my needs or inquiries. I faced abrupt responses, lack of information, and no support during travel issues. I regret choosing Onthebeach Holidays and advise others to look elsewhere for better service. Namely Sarah last night and Teegan today.I will expand later.

Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with, booked a two bedroom deluxe apartment in Albufeira and received confirmation of that, a few minutes later I received a text to say that my booking had been “upgraded” to a one bedroom luxury apartment which turns out to be the cheapest studio apartment the hotel offers! Have spoken to about 7 different people at On The Beach to try and sort this out and everyone who works there is completely incompetent! I will never book with this company again and will tell everyone I know to avoid them at all costs!

The hotel we booked (Fortezza Beach in Turkey) was / is listed as a five star luxurious hotel with 2 a la carte restaurants, we upgraded the room to a spacious family room.What we have got is a dirty hotel, the a la carte restaurant (singular) was closed by the hotel five years ago with many of the features listed by on the beach simply not existing. The family room we were allocated was hardly big enough to fit the beds into.The hotel initially claimed all the family rooms were the same size however after further complaints about service they found a larger open plan room, then offered a deluxe room at extra cost and finally after further complaint they found a family room of the size advertised and admitted they only have 3 of this size and all the others are small.Aside from the fact there are not the advertised al a carte restaurants the food offerings are repetitive, there is not even a toaster during breakfast with the restaurants clearing what is on offer long before the advertised opening times (these are limited to a couple of hours for lunch / dinner and 3 hours for breakfast). Food that is on display / out for people to help themselves to in the buffet is unprotected and not refrigerated and when running low fresh is openly mixed with what is left.Kids are only allowed ice cream between 4 & 5pm where there is a mad scramble and often nothing left.The bars only offer a choice of 4 spirits served from airplane style miniature bottles with warm mixers and often with no ice available.There is not even a wine list or a choice of premium drinks available to purchase.Carpets are dirty and threadbare, sunloungers are covered cloth covers that soak up sweat yet are not changed.Rooms are serviced once every 48 hours.On The Beach have offered a gesture of good will of £25.02 each for the lack of restaurants and have failed to return calls regarding the overall quality of the hotel - we will be contacting ABTA and AMEX and following through with each on return as this hotel is about as far from a 5* resort as is possible.

I have just read all the previous reviews here and can honestly say I didn't have Any problems with them. Maybe I was lucky but my friend booked separately and he had the same experience we had different departure/return dates as we booked on different days but No problems at all.

Be very careful me and our friends booked holidays with them for Christmas. They called our friends to cancel there holiday but won’t let us cancel ours. They said we could and it was done but then received confirmation it’s all booked. I called them they said I didn’t call to cancel. STAY CLEAR OF TBIS COMPANY

Awful service, Been trying to get hold of them for months. We have booked our holiday and the hotel has since closed, and no phone lines are open to discuss matter..... Disgraceful. Pictures are brochure Pictures vs reality......

Once again left dissatisfied & disappointed with my holiday booking. Once again (this is second time in less than 12 months) flights have changed and therefore lose almost a whole day of our holiday. The first time this happened we paid for 7 days in Dubai and only used room for 6 nights - the hotel thought we were not coming!). This has never happened to me in 35+ years of holidays - will not use On The Beach again
