Metro Rod - Support Centre

I called my insurance company about a blocked soil pipe which affected the toilet, bath and sink. They arranged for Danny from Metro Rod to come round. It wasn’t a straight forward job and he was on site for over five hours.I have nothing but praise for Danny who is both professional and friendly with a high standard of work, and he even sorted out a neighbour’s problem at the same time. Please take note Metro Rod he is a valuable asset to your company. Another engineer, Ben was also called in later to help with the work and they both completed with the minimum of fuss and no mess. In fact you wouldn’t have known they had been there.I have no hesitation in highly recommending Metro Rod, and in particular Danny and Ben.

Just excellent... from beginning to end... out of the 5 companies I called, MetroRod we’re the only one to listen and understand I had vulnerable people and went out of their way and sent someone within 2hrs while others offered the following day.Cleared my issue (praise the lord) fast, effectively and cleaned up after themselves and very reasonably priced.Will only recommend them and will use again if ever needed. Outstanding customer service, Ricki, the service engineer told us exactly what he was going to do and kept us informed at every step of the works, he was very thourough and found the blockage and descaled the remaining pipes whilst there, Ricki was very Knowledgeable and his customer service skills were impeccable, he tided up after he had finished and was very pleasant to chat to, a very refreshing experience and would highly recommend using this service again, many thanks, cheers.

Not impressed with this company - they were called out by my landlord for a blocked drain. Told me they couldn't be certain why the drain had blocked, but then told my landlord it was down to misuse" by us

Called this company to clear a blocked drain in Edinburgh. Engineer arrived but was unable to clear the drain on the first visit. He offered to return the next day. Unfortunately I wasn't available, but gave the engineer a key for the communal rear door. Nobody came. Since then the company have arranged to come, after I had made repeated phone calls, on five different occasions. No engineer has ever returned. I'm really surprised by the lack of professionalism from a nationwide company.

The initial contact and call out to carry out the quote was good. However following this there was a complete lack of communication about getting the quote. I contacted head office where Caine was a superstar in getting things pushed along. I finally got the quote which I was happy with and the person who came out to do the drain survey was very professional and helpful.

Been having trouble with blocked drains and had various people out to solve the problem. Nobody could until luckily for me your Engineer David (from METROROD) came.He was absolutely wonderful. He was friendly, efficient, caring and very knowledgable.He had everything cleared and working perfectly in a very short time.After a week of frustration and aggravation from other useless engineers from other companies, I can’t praise METROROD and David highly enoughI highly recommend them.

Excellent service. Rang in the am and they had an engineer on site within a couple of hours.Jetted the blocked drain and also checked all others.Superb service, would recommend.
