Cuttermoon Lodge

If we could give this 10 stars we would and it would be well deserved. Helen and Jon could not have been more welcoming (and not forgetting their gorgeous dog Rowley!), and the lodge was equipped with everything we needed, and more. The lodge is amazing, set in a beautifully private orchard, with the most relaxing hot tub on the veranda, which was well used on our visit. I was so relaxed I had no idea what day or time it was, and I didn't care! Having survived lockdown, home schooling and summer holidays with 2 young boys, this was the best weekend away to recharge our batteries that we could have wished for. The walks around the nearby Wyre Forest are pretty amazing too. All in all, I miss it so much, I am about to go on the website and book again for next year!Georgie

We were lucky enough to stay at the beautiful Cuttermoon Lodge in October. Helen and John are the perfect hosts and Cuttermoon Lodge is absolute heaven. They have thought of everything to make this a luxury haven of peace and tranquility. When we arrived the candles and fire were lit and with the fairy lights on the porch it all looked really magical. We were welcomed by a bottle of prosecco and homemade lemon drizzle cake, delicious! The Lodge is very well planned with everything you could possibly need. It is tucked away with unspoiled views of the beautiful surrounding countryside and extremely private. we have already booked a visit as a gift for our Australian relatives next year. can't wait to go back! Have just returned from our 2nd visit to Cuttermoon Lodge and it was everything I remembered from our 1st visit in Nov 2019. Sadly we missed out on two bookings last year due to Covid-19 and lockdown, so was so looking forward to this weekend away, and we weren't disappointed.There are only good things to say about the accommodation. It is beautifully decorated and furnished, with everything you need to escape from normal life. The orchard and surrounding fields are a haven for birds and other little critters. I sat on the verandah with my new book, hoping to get a good start on it, but only managed a couple of chapters as I spent most of the time watching the birds and squirrel doing thier thing. It's just so peaceful and relaxing.In our opinion though, the best thing about Cuttermoon is the hosts, Helen and Jon. They are always on hand if needed, and just go that extra mile to make sure you have the best experience. They leave treats and toys for your dog and food parcels for the humans. Fresh eggs from their hens, juice from the apples grown in the orchard, fresh bread and cake, and they make you feel like you're old friends coming to visit. I've only met them twice, but it feels like I've known them for years. This definitely won't be last time we escape to Cuttermoon.

Just came back from the best stay here with my partner and dog.Helen & Jon were the most fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble. They welcomed us on arrival straight away and made us feel at home immediately.Our Safari tent was perfect. It had everything we needed and was the most amazing place to unwind. The main bed is on another level of comfort, it was really hard to get out this morning. Another amazing perk, was that the land is all enclosed so we could let our dog off and make dinner/breakfast without worrying where he had got to. I also had the most comforting bath this morning with a cup of tea. Perfect.Thank you both, we cannot wait to come back!Sammy, Cain & Rolo.

No matter the time of year, I'd say there's no better place to take yourself away from the world for some cosy relaxation. A private lodge situated in an orchard - everything has been considered - welcome hampers for both humans and pooches alike, a fabulous jacuzzi that's always ready to go, a well appointed kitchen and a comfy king size bed.Owners Helen and Jon are super lovely, thoughtful and helpful, whilst respecting your privacy. Would recommend booking via their website for the best deal. We loved it and will be back.

Absolute Perfection in a small package......We’ve returned from a mini-break at Cuttermoon Lodge and cannot rate it highly enough. Every single detail has been considered and it’s dog friendly in every way. There is literally nothing I would change (which is rare for me!). The owners were really welcoming and we were greeted with a lovely basket of locally sourced goodies which went down a treat. The lodge may be small (1 bedroom) but it’s perfectly formed with plenty of room for two (very) grown adults and a cocker-spaniel. The hot tub is a lovely added extra and was much appreciated - we certainly made the most of it.Without any hesitation we would recommend and will certainly visit again.
