We booked a last-minute SUP lesson (we were complete beginners). This session was the highlight of our holiday! Ian was fantastic, and by the end of the session we both felt confident and so much more knowledgeable. The location for the lesson was ideal - beautiful and quiet. Ian had so many helpful tips and I learned so much in that hour. Overall it was brilliant fun and I would definitely recommend a SUP lesson with Ian. He is extremely friendly and has a great sense of humour. Thank you Ian for such a great experience.

Ian was an excellent instructor! From the moment we met him, all four of us, including my 67-year-old mum, were standing up on the paddleboard in no time. We had a thoroughly enjoyable session and will definitely book again when we’re in the area. 5 stars!

Fantastic beginner stand up paddleboard lesson with Ian today on Chichester canal. We were standing up straight away and had a really fun session with coaching tips throughout.

Our group had a great time stand-up paddleboarding as part of a Stag Do weekend. Ian was very patient and supportive with everyone, and can certainly take a joke. Highly recommended activity with a great instructor!

Had an awesome 1-2-1 SUP lesson with Ian today. Ian is so knowledgeable and taught me so much in the 2 hours we had on the canal, by the end I felt like I was really getting into a groove! I am excited to get out on my own board now and put the skills he has taught me to good use. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

I booked a SUP lesson for my husband and myself and we were not disappointed. Despite a few initial nerves we had a fantastic day. Ian is a great guy, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic and put us both at ease. We learnt so much in just two hours and the location is beautiful and peaceful. I fully recommend a lesson with Ian in this stunning location.

My 11 year old son, 14 year old niece and I had a fantastic 2 hour paddle boarding session with Ian from Surfs SUP Watersports. We are all beginners, and he took us to Chichester canal, which was calm and secluded. Ian was a great teacher, making sure that all 3 of us came away with a good technique. He also kept the session fun, so the teens were engaged throughout. We are all keen to continue paddle boarding and are grateful for such a fun and useful introduction. I would highly recommend this type of session for families.

This was the first time my friend and I tried out paddle boarding. We were quite anxious beforehand but we needn't have been! Ian was the perfect teacher, very knowledgeable and with a great sense of humour. We had a fantastic time out on the canal and it was a beautiful day. We thoroughly enjoy ourselves and will definitely be back!

Great friends and family paddle boarding experience in Chichester Canal! Amy and Ian were super and fun instructors making it even more enjoyable. Within a few mins even the beginners were pros and were off for a couple of hours of gliding on the Canal. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Ian was absolutely brilliant. He took me from doing zero paddle boarding to managing to do a mini triathlon in a couple of goes!We rented the paddle boards and wet suits and had a really fun time learning to paddle board. He also pushed me to being more competitive ahead of my triathlon. I actually came 11th out of the women in my SUP, Bike, Run!I also had the most epic fail
